At the age of five, Aias was discovered by Young Moviemakers, and the organization granted him a Crescenzo Grant so that he could participate. Not only because of his young age, but also due to the fact that he was diagnosed with autism, Aias and his parents never considered the possibility that he would have an interest in acting. Aias had some initial reservations, but ultimately made the decision to give it a shot.

What happened next was a life-changing surprise. It turns out that the practice of acting in general brought out a completely new side of Aias, one in which he was able to be his absolute best and happiest self. His performance at Young Moviemakers was outstanding, and ever since then, all he has spoken about is returning. Aias participated in Young Moviemakers multiple times over the course of the following few years and has since gone on to achieve a great deal of success.

In 2017, Aias signed with Premiere Talent Management, one of the most prestigious talent agencies in Vancouver. Since then, she has won a number of awards, including the award for Best Film Overall at the Toronto International Film Festival’s (TIFF) Young Filmmakers Showcase for “The Fortune Teller,” as well as the award for Best Narrative at the Calgary International Film Festival for “Teen Chick.” In addition to that, he was considered for the award for Best Young Actor at the Joey Awards in 2016, and he ended up winning the award for Young Future Star at the Our Voices Film Festival in 2017.
