On Thursday, August 11, South Korean media site Xports News received an official update on the actress’ facial injuries from Han So-management hee’s company, 9ato Entertainment. It would take some time for the actress to resume filming as she is still healing.
The Gyeongseong Creature horror drama was being filmed on August 3 when the My Name actress suffered a facial injury. She co-stars in the action-packed drama with Park Seo-joon of Itaewon Class.
The actress is expected to return to filming “after next week,” according to a statement from 9ato Entertainment. But it appears that the precise time will only be known after she has fully recovered.
Han Soon, So-hee might start up again
The actress from Nevertheless just began filming Gyeongseong Creature, a fantasy thriller that also stars Park Seo-joon. She unfortunately sustained an injury near her eye on August 3 while acting out a challenging action scene. She personally let her supporters know that she was doing OK a few days later, on August 8.
The actress’ agency provided additional updates to fans on her future intentions on August 11. Although the My Name actress does not require surgery, the accident prevents her from wearing cosmetics. She is currently being treated with recovery tape and is expected to start working again after the next week.
“Gyeongseong Creature is currently being filmed without Han So-hee; she is expected to rejoin after the following week. Her injuries prevents her from donning cosmetics, thus the precise date will be chosen after viewing her prognosis. Fortunately, she didn’t require surgery, and right now, recovery tape is taking care of her. Around her eyes are still bruises.
With the critically acclaimed drama The World of the Married, Han So-hee broke through in 2020. Given that the actor has landed parts in popular dramas like Soundtrack #1, Nevertheless, and My Name, it should come as no surprise that he is one of the industry’s up-and-coming superstars.
