Who is Jamie Hodari? & What Has Happened To Him?

‘WeCrashed’ explores the rise and fall of the shared workspace firm WeWork, as well as the couple at its centre, Adam and Rebekah Neumann. The company develops to dizzying heights and is soon worth billions, thanks to its great ambitions and Adam’s ability to persuade people to believe in his vision. The money, on the other hand, seems to disappear quicker than it comes in, prompting the frantic co-founder and CEO to attempt to take over the entire shared workspace sector in order to crush the competition.

One of the first contenders Adam threatens to “crush” is Jamie Hodari. Adam tells Jamie his ideas after inviting him to a meeting aboard the swanky new WeWork business plane. We were curious to know what happened to Jamie in real life because so much of the Apple TV+ show is based on true events. Jamie Hodari is currently located in the following location.

Jamie Hodari, who is he?

Jamie Hodari is the Co-Founder and CEO of Industrious, a shared workspace startup with over 100 locations across the United States with offices in Singapore, Manchester, and London. In 2012, he and Justin Stewart co-founded the company and raised $1 million to build their first facility in Chicago in 2013.

Jamie has had a fascinating work path, earning expertise and significant insight in a variety of fields. Jamie attended three Ivy League universities as the son of an Argentinian immigrant to the United States who was an Obstetrician-Gynecologist. Following his B.A. from Columbia, he earned an M.P.P. from Harvard and a J.D. from Yale Law School. He began his career in Delhi as a reporter for the Times of India, then moved on to project finance at the law firm Sullivan & Cromwell and investment analysis at the hedge fund Birch Run Capital.

Jamie’s first company, Kepler, was founded in 2011 and operates an education programme that provides affordable, high-quality education via a network of campuses and online classes. IKEA became a major donor to the organisation, and the idea for Industrious germinated during a visit with the IKEA President in New York. Kepler operated out of a shared workplace in New York because the majority of its staff were stationed in Africa. Jamie came up with the idea for Industrious after discussing it with his boyhood buddy Justin Stewart, who later joined as a co-founder.

What happened to Jamie Hodari?

Jamie Hodari is still identified as the CEO of the company he co-founded, and he appears to be based in the Industrious headquarters in New York. The entrepreneur, who is around 40 years old at the time of writing this piece, has worked in a variety of businesses and claims to have always been interested in education.

Jamie married Natalie Papillion in late January 2020 in New Orleans, and the couple now lives in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. Natalie is an entrepreneur and strategist working in the domains of drug policy and criminal justice reform, according to her LinkedIn profile. She is currently the Executive Director (and Founder) of The Equity Organization, as well as a member of the Last Prisoner Project’s board of directors and Director of Strategic Initiatives.

Jamie said in an interview that he and Natalie had planned to travel during the COVID-19 pandemic but were unable to do so due to the epidemic. He also enjoys fishing and hiking, and has recently rekindled his passion in video games.
