The year 2021 was the year that he joined the Strictly family. He competed on South Africa’s Got Talent in 2012, and he was a member of his country’s team at the World Championships in 2019.
In his own words, the chance to be on Strictly Come Dancing was “life-changing,” and he said he was excited to take on the challenges of being a professional dancer on the popular TV show.
At least 18 national championships have been his in his career. He won both ballroom and Latin dance championships at least once during that time. He is now the South African Latin Champion.
Following his first dance class when he was just five years old, he has worked his way up the ranks to become a South African Ballroom and Latin American Champion at the Juvenile level, the Junior level, the Youth level, and now the Adult level.
