The show’s portrayal of Nigerian actor Joy Sunday, who plays Bianca Barclay, as a bully and Iman Marson, who plays Lucas Wilson, as a mean girl also contributes to the racist storyline.

Samuel L. Jackson noted that he was the sole Black character in Tim Burton’s 2016 film Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, which sparked a racial issue.
Tim had observed in 2016, “Things either call for things, or they don’t. Nowadays, people are talking about it more.
When The Brady Bunch started to get more politically correct when I was a kid and they said things like, “OK, let’s have an Asian child and a Black child,” I used to be more irritated by that than merely because I had grown up watching blaxploitation movies, don’t you remember?
I said, “That’s fantastic.”
I didn’t think, “OK, these movies ought to have more white people in them.
Back then, his remarks had sparked a lot of criticism as well.
For those who are unfamiliar, Wednesday centers on a teenage girl named Wednesday Addams who is exploring her psychic talents and aids in solving old murder cases.
There are eight episodes in the series. The Addams Family adaption also stars Gwendoline Christie, Christina Ricci, and Catherine Zeta-Jones as Marilyn Thornhill and Morticia Addams, respectively (Larissa Weems).

American director Tim Burton, real name Timothy William Burton, was born in Burbank, California, on August 25, 1958. He is renowned for his distinctive, eccentric style, which usually incorporated horrific and fantastical themes.
