The third and final season of BBC One’s legal drama The Split is coming back. It comes out on June 17, 2022, and has another interesting story about the Defoe family. With a focus on Hannah and Nathan’s painful journey, the final season will be the most emotional one yet for Hannah as she goes through her heartbreaking divorce.
Since The Split’s first episode, which introduced divorce lawyer Hannah Stern, who works in London’s wealthy divorce scene, the audience has seen and helped their favourite main character get through a number of tough cases.
But in season 2, there were big changes in Hannah and Nathan’s marriage, which gave fans plenty of drama and made it a pretty good season of the show.
From the photos of Season 3, it looks like there will be a lot of chaos. Hannah and Nathan’s divorce is getting more complicated as someone new comes into their already falling marriage.

The Split, an interesting British legal drama, will start its third season on cable on Monday, June 27, 2022, at 11 p.m. ET. BBC America will release a one-hour episode of the six-part series finale every Monday for the next six weeks.
The official trailer, which came out in March of this year, shows some of the legal and family drama that will happen this season as the two main characters go through with their divorce.
According to the official summary of Season 3,
“This farewell series is exciting, funny, and sad all at the same time. At its centre are the Defoe sisters and their matriarch, a group of strong women who work together to help their clients, their colleagues, and each other get through the messiness of life.”
At the end of Season 2, Hannah’s treachery was finally shown to be as bad as it was, which ruined her supposed forever marriage with Nathan. After ten long months, Season 3 shows the two very experienced divorce lawyers talking about their breakup. They seem to have found a middle ground that will allow them to go their separate ways peacefully.
On the other hand, Hannah will become more and more aware of how much she stands to lose as the effects of her actions become clearer. As she and Nathan start to split up after 20 years of marriage, she has to think about what she might lose. But one thing is certain: their hopes for a civil divorce have been shattered.
The series finale of the legal drama Split is expected to have some of the most intense and heartbreaking episodes ever. It will also be the first time that the show’s creator, Abi Morgan, will direct an episode.
The writer of the series, Morgan, is said to have said:

Fans who were sad to hear that this was the last episode got a glimmer of hope when they heard that the show’s creator had talked about a possible sequel in the past.
