Only Murders in the Building Season 2 will start on Hulu on June 28, 2022 at 3 a.m. EST, and the three amateur detectives will be back. Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez play the main roles in the offbeat drama-comedy written by Steve Martin and John Hoffman.
After the end of Season 1, viewers were left with a cliffhanger. Fans hope that the next season will tie up all the loose ends from Season 1. This season, the show that makes fun of true crime fans will show how the show’s resident true crime podcasters become suspects in a murder mystery.
The new plot twists and one-liners of Season 2 will be shown for the first time in two episodes on Hulu on June 28, 2022, at 3 AM EST. This season, too, will have 10 episodes, and the last one will come out on August 23, 2022.

The trailer for Season 2 of Only Murders in the Building came out on June 14, 2022. It showed how the three main characters were dealing with the death of Bunny, the owner of Arconia. Mabel can be seen going back to the apartment of her neighbour who died. She says while recording a new podcast episode, “We at “Only Murders in the Building” will not go quietly.”
The trailer also gave a sneak peek at Amy Schumer and Cara Delevingne, who are joining the show this season.
Only Murders in the Building’s first season in a nutshell: Tim Kono was killed, and there is a shocking new murder mystery.
Charles Haden-Savage (Martin), Oliver Putnam (Short), and Mabel Mora Gomez, who all lived in the New York building Arconia, got together to start the podcast with the same name. The popularity of their podcast helped them figure out who killed Tim Kono, who was also from Arconia.
At the end of the season, the three found out that Charles’ girlfriend Jan had killed Kono by poisoning her. Jan and Tim were found to be seeing each other. Jan decided to poison Tim after he broke up with her. She also wanted to poison Charles and blow up Arconia so that the podcast wouldn’t show that she was the killer. But the three people were able to stop her in time.
Charles and Oliver were celebrating Jan’s capture when they got a text message from someone telling them to leave the building right away. When they went to look for Mabel, they found her leaning over the dead body of Bunny, the owner of Arconia, covered in blood. Cinda Canning, a rival podcaster played by Tina Fey, made her own show called Only Murderers in the Building after they were caught.
What can you expect from Season 2 of Only Murders in the Building?
After a big cliffhanger at the end of Season 1, viewers can look forward to getting answers this season. John Hoffman, one of the people who helped make the show, said in October 2021 that the writers were keeping track of all the questions and loose ends, and that the second season would answer them.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Hoffman also said that this season will look at the history and architecture of Arconia. In the second season, flashbacks will show Charles’s father and how he fits into the history of Arconia. He also gave the impression that the season might take place in places other than Arconia.
The official synopsis for Season 2 of Only Murders in the Building said that the three detectives will be in a hurry to find Bunny’s killer, but their quest will not be easy. Now that the three people have been publicly linked to the murder, they will be competing with Cinda Canning’s podcast. They will also have to deal with the fact that some of their New York neighbours think they killed the person.
On June 28, 2022, at 3 AM EST, only the second season of Murders in the Building will be available on Hulu.
