What time will Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie’s season finale air globally, and why may fans have faith in season 2 of the anime series?

The summer anime schedule for 2022 has arrived, bringing with it a brand-new lineup of shows to watch during the ensuing three months.

We’re going to see the outfit that I’ve always regarded as being my favorite in the series today in Shikimori-san. Can’t wait until the conclusion! Shikimori is a Japanese anime series.

NOT JUST A CUTIE: SHIKIMORI’S SEASON 2 RENEWAL STATUS

Although Studio Doga Kobo has not officially announced that Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie will return for a second season as of July 9th, all indications point to this happening.

The most blatant hint of a potential second season comes from the Keigo Maki original manga series, which Doga Kobo is adapting for television. According to AnimeGeek, the remaining portion of volume 7 of the original manga will be adapted for episode 12’s conclusion.

The good news is that as of July 9th, 14 complete Tankobon volumes have been published in Japan; hence, Shikimori season 2 could actually start right away with ample source material.

Importantly, the anime also significantly increased domestic manga sales in Japan; Oricon ranked the series among their top 20 for April 2022. (when the anime first premiered).

Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie should also be sufficiently well-liked to justify a renewal for season 2 despite a few marginally lackluster ratings and reviews. On IMDB, Crunchyroll Reviews, Anime Planet, and Anilist, the anime is currently scored 6.9/10, 3.5/5, 3.7/5, and 68 percent.

Shikimori is also receiving a 6.77/10 on MyAnimeList, a site with approximately 80,000 reviews and 350,000 users despite its lower rating than many fans would have anticipated.

You’re going to enjoy this program if you’re seeking for a shallow feel-good story that will indulge your waifu fantasies. You won’t be disappointed if you’re hoping for something deeper or more profound here. – IMDB user “bendashwood”

Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie being renewed for season 2 appears to be a reasonable expectation overall. Interestingly, a special anime TV event is slated for November 20th; as a result, we should expect to learn more details about the series’ reappearance and final release date at that time.

One light book and manga I’m simply anticipating the release of the anime and when season 2 will be. Shikimori is more than simply a cute face in this year’s photo.
