The A-1 Pictures adaptation recently surpassed the equally excellent Spy x Family to become the highest-rated series on the whole schedule.
Although Kaguya-sama hasn’t been formally renewed for season 4, it just became known that a new anime film for the property is in the works. For fans, this is all the information they need to know.
The manga content from Kaguya-Sama that will be adapted for Season 3 will be excellent. But once the manga content for Seasons 4 and 5 is adapted, it’ll become legendary!

The original manga series by Aka Akasaka, Kaguya-sama: Love is War – Ultra Romantic, was completed by adapting it to volume 14 chapter 138. As of June 24th, 267 chapters from 26 Tankobon volumes had been published in Japan.
That indicates that there may be sufficient source material for at least three more TV anime seasons in addition to the fact that the manga is currently ongoing

The news that this new endeavor would be a theatrical anime film was announced on July 7th in the August issue of the Newtype magazine.
The movie, whose working title is “The First Kiss Never Ends,” will adapt the manga’s next story arc, which comes just after the season 3 finale, according to Anime News Network.
Fans may anticipate the movie to premiere in Japanese theaters somewhere in Q4 2023, but sadly neither a trailer nor a planned release date have yet been revealed.
WHEN MIGHT KAGUYA-SAMA SEASON 4 BE RELEASED?
A new anime film was recently confirmed, although the post included no details regarding when it would be released. On the basis of the production cycle from previous broadcasts, we may, nevertheless, make some early predictions about the likely release date of season 4.
While season 2 was unveiled in October 2019 and made its debut in April 2020, season 1 was announced in June 2018 and debuted in January 2019. In October 2020, it was announced that season 3 would be renewed, and the transmission would begin in April 2022.

Overall, Kaguya-sama could return to TV as soon as Summer 2024 if the new anime film is truly scheduled to release in Q4 2023 and A-1 Pictures will thereafter begin work on season 4. However, Fall 2024 is likely a more likely timeline.
