When Roseanne Boylan attempted to push past police and break through an entrance on the west side of the Capitol on January 6, she was overpowered by the mob.

Despite the fact that the recordings were extensively circulated, Ms Boylan’s participation in them went undiscovered, and the method of her death was unclear. The footage showed her body lying on the ground outside a door on the Capitol’s west side, where the day’s heaviest violence took place.
Her clothing and backpack straps in the video match those in her earlier photo, and two witnesses, one of whom attempted to aid her, offered a similar account of her death.

Thugs gathered to the second-floor promenade on the west side of the Capitol around 2:30 p.m., pushing past the Metropolitan Police. They made their way to a door and tunnel used by presidents to enter the Capitol for inauguration festivities, attempting to break through.
The crowd was confronted by a line of riot police as soon as they entered the tunnel. “Stop busy, someone will be hurt,” a crowd can be heard urging in the video just as they start to get busy.
“Well, we’re on the Capitol steps, and the barricade has been broken, and people are streaming in.” “The door has been opened!” “Don’t be a pushover!” “Someone will be harmed.”
The corridors were packed with goons in less than half an hour. Jon Farina, an independent photojournalist, came at 2:50 p.m. and began photographing.
When they saw the gathering packed in perilous disorder, they charged the cops and tried to drive them back with the weight of their combined bodies, trapping many of them. Both sides shot air with chemically aggressive sprays back and forth.
New arrivals eagerly joined the mob that filled the cramped passageways to replace those who were wounded or fatigued, and the combat inside carried on for another hour.
Ms. Boylan, who can be seen in a YouTube video sporting American-flag sunglasses as she stands among the crowd pushing for the entrance, is one of the arrivals. Justin Winchell, a friend who was with her at the demonstration that day, was also in the crowd but was not captured on film.
