Robert Pann, Bernice Gray’s ex-boyfriend, is serving out his time for killing Bernice Gray in December 1991 at the Carson City Correctional Facility in Michigan.
Bernice was last seen driving her one-year-old daughter to a nearby day care centre at 6:30 a.m. on December 26, 1991. But she disappeared soon after. When Bernice’s boss realised she was gone, he called her ex-boyfriend to tell him.
The police were called, and Bernice’s family was told that she was missing. The car she left behind was finally found in Detroit, Michigan, four days after she went missing.
When the police got there, there was blood all over the inside of the car. Later, a specialist said that someone inside the car had been shot. Police also found Bernice’s ID cards and two empty shells from gunshots.
