Welcome to Plathville Season 4 Episode 11: Why did Moriah Plath think Olivia was “not a true friend”?

On tonight’s episode of Welcome to Plathville, Olivia decided against going to Joshua’s cemetery while Kim was there and opted to wait in the car instead. Nevertheless, Moria required Olivia’s presence during the visit to Joshua’s burial; unfortunately, Olivia put her own requirements ahead of those of her close friend. When Moriah was just six years old, her mother Kim accidently ran over Joshua in front of her, and ever since then, no one has talked to her about the tragedy. No one has even asked her about it.

Olivia was unpleasant and refused to stay with Moriah when she tried to convince her to stay with her. Because of this, Moriah experienced a sense of betrayal and confronted Olivia about the fact that she is not a genuine friend. Moriah explained that she had been on her friend’s side for the past three to four years and had carefully navigated her emotions as a result; yet, she felt that it was inappropriate for her to avoid going to Joshua’s burial.

She had the impression that Olivia was being impolite for no apparent reason and was attaching undue weight to her supposedly “fragile” emotions. Later, she revealed to Ethan that the process of change was already underway in their family, but she declined to bring up the subject in front of Olivia.

Welcome to Plathville fans praise Moriah for standing up for herself

What happened on Welcome to Plathville tonight?

I’m Done Choosing and You Know What You Did are the titles of the two episodes of Welcome to Plathville that were broadcast today on TLC. When asked about the property owned by the Plath family, Ethan described it as “one patch of earth” that he was quite familiar with. Micah’s unexpected trip from Los Angeles to help assist other family members was a pleasant surprise for everyone.

According to the synopsis of the episode,

They thought back on their childhood and recalled how their mother would ring the bell to call them inside when it was time for dinner. The siblings often got together to play a game called “Freeze Tag.”

Kim resented the fact that she was not invited to the farm and claimed that it was impolite of Olivia and the other children to not invite her to celebrate the birthday of her own child at the farm. After the divorce, she had the impression that the children had taken Barry’s side.

Olivia made the decision not to provide the family a tribute. After everything was over, the family said their goodbyes, and Ethan shared with his mother that he hoped they would someday be able to have a dialogue about the problems they were having.

On the occasion of Olivia’s birthday, Ethan pranked her by making a supper for her and giving her a leather jacket as a present. Even though Olivia tried her best to make Ethan laugh and forget about what had happened, he was not having it. Olivia shared that this was the first time that Ethan had cooked a dinner for her, and that she and Ethan had plans to take a vacation together to Jamaica so that they can both unwind.

After learning that his mother was left home alone among the fighting and the divorce, Ethan made the decision to have a conversation with his mother regarding his upbringing.

The eleven children of Kim and Barry Plath were raised in a conventional manner on the family farm that spans 500 acres while they were growing up, and Welcome to Plathville chronicles their everyday life. The programme may be seen on TLC on Tuesday evenings at 9 o’clock Eastern Time.
