Phillip O’Brien: Hero dad, 35, restrains half-naked woman who shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ and claimed to have explosives on flight

LARNACA, CYPRUS: Phillip O’Brien was a hero on a Jet2 flight when he stepped up to make sure his family and other people on board were safe after a terror scare.

The 35-year-old held back a woman who took off her clothes down to her underwear and rushed twice toward the cockpit, saying she had bombs on the Cyprus to Manchester flight.

In the incident on August 9, a half-naked woman shouted “Allahu Akbar” as she ran through the Manchester-bound plane. She is still unknown. She also said that her parents were part of ISIS, which is a terrorist group.

Early Tuesday morning, a flight from Larnaca to Manchester was rerouted to Paris because a 30-year-old woman caused trouble on the flight and made everyone on board scared soon after takeoff. She shouted “Allahu Akbar” and made it sound like she had access to explosives on the plane. She even asked the children she was with if they were “ready to die.”

O’Brien said that the situation was pretty tense because everyone was “s****ing themselves” and no one was trying to stop her. He even asked the staff why they weren’t doing anything before he took action himself. When O’Brien saw the woman walk toward the cockpit for the second time, he saw his chance. He told the Mirror that he went alone and “took her to the ground.” After getting the woman under control, the pilot made an emergency landing at the Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris.

On January 28, 2008, in Manchester, England, a Jet2 passenger plane is getting ready to land at Manchester International Airport. Baggage handlers at the airport may lose their jobs because the management of Ringway Handling Services says they may shut down the business because the market at the airport is so competitive. The company is one of several that work at the airport to help people with their bags.

The 35-year-old is the boss of a drainage company. When he was younger, he worked in security. He was on the road with his wife and three kids between the ages of eight and fourteen, making a total of six people. He also said that he had talked to the woman and asked her about what she had done. She supposedly told him, “If I don’t, there will be an explosion and everyone will die.”

On social media, people are sharing videos of a chaotic scene in which at least two French police officers are holding down a woman wearing a red top and a black cap. The flight was said to have gone to Paris so that the “disruptive passenger” could be taken off.
