Walt Disney Studios released their action movie titled “National Treasure” in the year 2004.
The National Treasure film franchise kicks off with this, the first installment. Benjamin Franklin Gates, portrayed by Nicolas Cage, is a historian and amateur cryptologist who is on the hunt for a buried wealth that was previously guarded by the Knights Templar and concealed by the Freemasons during the early years of the United States.
Gates isn’t the only one on the hunt for the “national treasure,” since the location of said wealth is indicated by a coded map on the other side of the Declaration of Independence.
Whoever gets their hands on the Declaration of Independence and cracks its code first will discover the greatest treasure in human history.

The intelligent treasure hunter Benjamin Franklin Gates is played by Academy Award winner Nicolas Cage. Gates comes from a family of treasure hunters.
Gates has spent his entire life looking for a treasure that no one believes exists: one that has been amassed over the course of time and carried across continents to become the most valuable treasure the history of the world has ever seen.
Our nation’s Founding Fathers hid the treasure, but also left hints as to where it might be found everywhere about us, including our nation’s birthplace, our nation’s capital, and even clues hidden within the emblems on the dollar note.
The culmination of Gates’ lifelong effort is the discovery of a map tucked away on the reverse side of the Declaration of Independence. No one had ever looked there before.
But the piece of information that he believed to be the last clue was actually just the beginning.
Gates realizes that in order to protect the world’s greatest treasure, he must now do the unthinkable: steal the most revered and best guarded document in American history before it falls into the wrong hands.
This realization comes as word of the invisible map spreads among those who oppose freedom.
In a race against time, Gates must avoid being caught by the FBI, keep one step ahead of his merciless foe (played by Sean Bean), understand the remaining clues, and solve the 2,000-year-old mystery that surrounds our most valuable national asset.

The teaser trailer is only seventeen seconds long, but it reveals the series star after quickly flashing both new and old objects across the screen.
This leaves a lot to the imagination. The fact that relics from the National Treasure movies are currently being presented on screen gives the impression that these artifacts and the tales that surround them will be brought up again in the future.
In addition, a behind-the-scenes documentary was simultaneously released alongside the trailer in order to provide viewers with a little bit more information regarding the new plot and characters.
The behind-the-scenes footage that is presented depicts a fighting scene that appears to take place during the Mexican-American conflict of 1846.
This conclusion is drawn on the basis of the military costumes and weapons that can be seen in the clip. In the front, one can make out a female soldier with her hair loosely curled and flowing.

On September 10, 2022, during a presentation at D23, the official trailer for National: Treasure: Edge of History was shown to the audience for the first time.
Harvey Keitel, who is returning his role as Agent Peter Sadusky, is shown in a key role in the trailer. He is seen having a conversation with the new heroine, Jess Morales, and disclosing to her that her father kept a lot of secrets.
After providing viewers with a sneak peek at some of the set pieces and adventures that our new heroes will go on, the teaser comes to a close with Justin Bartha, playing the role of Riley Poole, introducing himself to the rest of the cast.

It is quite unlikely that star Nicolas Cage will return to his part in the series given that it will feature a younger cast. It’s possible that he was too preoccupied with the crushing burden of his enormous gift for him to participate in the series.
Although Cage will not be appearing in National Treasure: Edge of History, we do have some information on the new cast members.
Lisette Alexis, a young actress, will take on the role of Jess Morales, the resourceful protagonist of the series. Catherine Zeta-Jones, playing the role of Billie Pearce, appears alongside Alexis.
Billie, a multibillionaire and an expert in ancient artifacts, is determined to acquire the Pan-American treasure for herself.
However, the wealth has a hidden significance to Billie that goes beyond monetary value, so it can’t just be about the money.
The character of FBI Agent Ross on Parenthood is played by Lyndon Smith, who, before to making a mistake that ended her career, was at the pinnacle of her profession.
She believes that by supporting Jess in uncovering the wealth, she will be able to reestablish her credibility as an agent.
Tasha, who plays for Flatbush Misdemeanors, is the best friend of Jess, who is known as Zuri Reed.
Tasha is a well-known figure on social media, and she utilizes her platform to speak out against unethical business practices and large organizations.
On the other hand, she needs to rethink her priorities while she is on the hunt with Jess. Jordan Rodrigues, who stars in Light as a Feather, plays the role of Ethan, another of Jess’s close friends.

In the second installment of the National Treasure film series, the franchise has previously discussed South American history and folklore.
