Jenelle Evans: Why former cast member of Teen Mom 2, refer to Barbara as “toxic”?
Alum of Teen Mom 2 In a post on Instagram on July 31, Jenelle Evans called her mother Barbara “toxic” and listed a number of accusations that were allegedly sent to her by her followers. They claimed that Barbara had been talking about her daughter behind Jenelle’s back.
Did you see what your mom said about you? was one message in the video. One said, “Your mom was talking s—t about you,” while another said, Jenelle took a seat and sipped her beverage.
Jenelle responded to the comments by noting in the post’s caption how upsetting it was when your own mother didn’t “acknowledge” any of your “accomplishments.” She implied that her mother was poisonous by concluding the tweet with the hashtag “ToxicParents.”
The mother and daughter’s relationship has always been rocky. Over the years, Teen Mom 2 has even featured their rocky relationship.
Barbara saw the Teen Mom cast during a trip to LA and gave them advice about not getting drawn into the world of fame, which led to the release of this most current video. She discussed how Jenelle spent a lot of money on her men, using her daughter as an example.

Following Barbara’s recent trip to Los Angeles, when she visited with the Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant cast and counseled them not to waste the money from their show foolishly, Jenelle posted on Instagram. The Ashley’s Reality Roundup said that Barbara supposedly said:
I will offer you some guidance. Do not lose your money and do not, I repeat, do not fall for this fame. Don’t let fame lure you in; it will wreck your life. Farrah experienced what Farrah did. She is an absolute mes.
For the upcoming season of Teen Mom: Girls’ Night, Barbara was in Los Angeles to shoot.
Regarding Jenelle and her extravagant spending, Barbara said:
“Even Jenelle spent a lot of money on everything for her lovers, including vehicles, boats, and other items. What the f-k are you doing? You know, traveling.
She went on to say that she had taken her money and “It was invested.
In the past, Barbara and Jenelle have fought.
Prior to this, tensions between the two erupted over custody of Jenelle and Andrew Lewis’ son Jace, who is almost 13 years old.
Barbara told TMZ in January 2021 that she had “complete custody” of Jace. In a TikTok video she posted that month, Jenelle allegedly refuted the claims.
She is currently attempting to portray me as a moron. She is now reclaiming all of it.
Despite their strained relationship, Jenelle stated to Us Weekly in a March interview that she would “never” want Barabara to leave Jace’s life:
“I know I’ve stated it before, but I was young and crazy back then. Despite how much I loathe my mother, I can see how crucial it is for Jace to have that bond.
In addition to Jace, the North Carolina native is a mother to two other kids. She has two children: Kaiser, with her ex-husband Nathan Griffith, and Ensley, with her current partner David Eason.
In addition to their disagreements over custody, Jenelle added that another factor contributing to their constant conflict was that, while they were filming Teen Mom 2, her mother was “always anxious about pleasing the producers,” which led to their “arguments.”
Jenelle previously shared a family Christmas photo with Barbara, showing that their earlier arguments are over. The most recent post, though, suggests different.
