At the beginning of Freeridge episode 6, Demi and Cam make out but stop to watch Andre’s live stream
Andre screams about traitors and the kinds of people who would hurt their own loved ones while Gloria and Ines listen along with him. He specifically calls Demi and Cam out at the conclusion.
When Tonio notices the scarf Gloria discovered outside their home, he informs her that it must be a Hermes and belonged to a very wealthy person. He declares that he is in favour of revenge when Gloria inquires about it.
Demi doesn’t want to engage in PDA to insult Andre at school. Cam persuades her that what happened actually did happen and that because they are now truly content, they should concentrate on themselves. Demi is yelled at and called a “homewrecker” by someone.
Gloria confronts Rusty at school, punches him, and accuses him of abandoning her sister and having extramarital affairs. They end up clashing.
Freeridge Season 1 Episode 6: Preview
Gloria’s father eventually receives the call from the principal when he calls home. When he arrives, the principal is perplexed but informs him that Gloria has been expelled because this was her final strike.
Gloria and Tonio have angered Javier. Javier believes Gloria was kicked out because of Ines when Ines questions Gloria about why she had to fight Ines.
Demi talks to a female who turns out to have had her headphones on the entire time as she describes the entire predicament with Cam and Andre. She wants to speak with Andre, but he refuses, saying they can only speak live on his podcast.
As he leaves the house, Javier orders Gloria and Tonio to go to their rooms. Gloria ultimately discovers a medical wristband in the trash and breaks into Javier’s room where she discovers a chemotherapy leaflet.
In a state of panic, she dials Demi’s number and informs her of the prophecy Cinnamon had shared with just Gloria. They conclude that Mariluna must be located. Demi is also instructed by Gloria to watch out for Ines.
Ines is located by Demi, who tries to determine what is wrong. Ines believes she will always be bad at everything. Demi makes an attempt to comfort her by saying that at least she hasn’t ended another person’s relationship. Ouch.
Cam is persuaded by Demi to go on Andre’s show. She feels confident about it. First, Andre inquires as to whether Demi’s actions are a result of her father-related problems.
Ines is unhappy when Gloria sends her to her room at home and orders her father to sit down and talk to her. He is called out by her for lying about having cancer.
Freeridge Season 1 Episode 6: Review
Demi is becoming more and more tense on the podcast, but Andre and his new co-host Benji won’t give her any water.
Dmei ultimately admits to Andre that their relationship was doomed before she even entered the scene after being pestered with inquiries about her life and attitude. She explains that Cam had been attempting to end their relationship for some time.
Gloria is informed by Javier that the cancer has advanced to stage three. In order to provide for Ines and Gloria, he has invested $5,000 in life insurance. The only other choice is expensive experimental therapies. When Ines arrives, she too hears everything.
Ines visits Gloria’s room later and is about to admit what she done. Gloria cuts her off. She explains to Ines that she doesn’t want to withhold things from her like their father did, but that she still needs to do so for Ines’s protection. Ines reconsiders confessing as she feels even more denigrated.
An uproar Ines complains to Rusty over the phone that Gloria doesn’t give a damn about her. He responds by saying that Gloria is actually all about Ines. Ines then admits to lying to Rusty.
Rusty calls Tonio to announce his resignation, but Tonio tells him the girls need him to stick around for a little longer.
When Andre is playing basketball, Cam runs into him. He tells Andre that despite how fantastic and terrifying it is that Andre is so truly himself.
He acknowledges that despite wanting to end things with Andre, he still cared for the man. Andre responds that he didn’t stop to think about whether he liked Cam, and he doesn’t, because he was so focused on whether Cam liked him or not.
Gloria informs Rusty that their kiss was an error and that they shouldn’t have done it when he arrives to pick up Ines from school. She interrupts him and says she’s not sorry, so he gives up trying to explain and assumes she feels the same way.
Gloria is placed on house arrest by Javier, who threatens to send her to live with her Abuela in Mexico if she leaves the house. While watching some of Rusty’s older recordings, she passes out on the sofa.
She observes Mariluna moving about the home as she awakens. She consumes several chips before entering a room, getting her luggage, and leaving. Gloria contemplates her options as she stands at her door, but ultimately chooses to go with Mariluna.
Freeridge Season 1 Episode 6: Episode
This one definitely has the vibe of one of those halfway episodes when there is a lot of talking but little actual action. Although Demi and Cam offer their justifications, it is difficult to contest Andre’s justified rage or any of his actions in this episode.
Ines’ position is simpler to dispute, though. I am aware that she despises being treated like a child, but she is also acting out in a childlike manner in response. It’s a little predictable and difficult to empathise with. I had hoped that Ines’s trajectory would be a little more distinctive given the creativity of the first few episodes.
The fact that Javier’s disease is further advanced raises the stakes significantly, but I’m unsure of whether it will be good for the show or not.
If they continued, the programme would have to be very circumspect when dealing with his illness and/or demise. Comedy dramas like this one often wind up addressing such weighty issues superficially.
Additionally, I don’t think raising the stakes was necessary at all because the tale already had enough material for the remainder of the season.
Mariluna and the cursed box haven’t really advanced, which is unfortunate. As Season 1 draws to a close, we still don’t know much about this woman or what she wants.
I miss the magical realism amid all the drama. But Gloria going outside sets up a promising Segway for the season’s final stretch.
Freeridge, a new comedy-drama series from Netflix, will have its digital debut on the service on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at 3.01 a.m. ET. The programme is a spinoff of the well-liked On My Block teen comedy series on Netflix. It focuses on a group of friends who attempt to reverse a deadly curse they might have caused.

Netflix unveiled the Freeridge official teaser on January 6, 2023. It provides a glimpse into the life of the four protagonists who embark on an epic quest after they could have exposed a terrible curse that could end their lives. One of the key characters says the following in the trailer’s opening:
So we purchased this evil box. We are now cursed as a result of it. ”
The trailer effectively establishes the main plot points without providing any significant spoilers that would detract from the experience of viewers. Fans of teen comedies will undoubtedly love the trailer’s overall quirky and daring tone.
According to Netflix’s Tudum, the new series has the following brief synopsis:
Gloria (Keyla Monterroso Mejia), Ines (Bryana Salaz), Demi (Ciara Riley Wilson), and Cam (Tenzing Norgay Trainor) are your new Core Four, destined to fall into a perplexing mystery — and, perhaps, a little puppy love — as they come across a box that might just be cursed.
Viewers can anticipate a humorous comedy series that follows the adventurous lives of four close friends who unwittingly set off a curse that appears to be coming back to haunt them, according to the official synopsis and trailer for Freeridge.
Eight episodes will supposedly make up the entire season, all of which are anticipated to premiere on Netflix on February 2, 2023.
