Career
Hudson’s first movie role was in the 1982 movie Penitentiary II, which starred Leon Isaac Kennedy. He had small parts on TV shows like “The Dukes of Hazzard” and “The A-Team.” In the first season of the TV show Fantasy Island, he played a voodoo man named Jamu. Hudson became well-known for his role as Winston Zeddemore, who joins the Ghostbusters in the 1984 movie Ghostbusters and its 1989 sequel. He also tried out for the role in the animated show The Real Ghostbusters, but Arsenio Hall got it instead. In The Hand that Rocks the Cradle, he played Solomon, the mentally challenged handyman, in a major supporting role (1992).
