On Tennessee Highway, Deone McKinney was in a terrible motorcycle accident that killed her. She went away from her family too soon.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says that one person died and two other people were hurt in a motorcycle accident in Blount County.
THP says that the accident took place on Wednesday around 4 p.m. It happened on the Dragon, a road with a lot of turns that is close to the border with North Carolina.
Ryan Deville, from Carlsbad, New Mexico, and Deone McKinney, from Dayton, Texas, were riding a motorcycle, according to the THP.
Who Was Deone McKinney?
Deone McKinney was from Texas, and she died while riding her motorcycle down a highway in Tennessee.
The THP investigation showed that Deville was going south on Highway 129. As Deville went around a curve to the right and into the middle lane, he lost control of the motorcycle.
A pickup truck in the other lane was hit by a motorcyclist. Both Deville and McKinney fell off their motorcycles and landed in a ditch. McKinney died, and Deville was hurt. At the time, both of them had helmets on.
The THP report says that Deville is facing charges while the investigation is still going on. The people in the other two cars were not hurt in any way.
