As of now, the official announcement has not been made, but there is news that the scope of CUCET 2022 is being expanded a lot. Through this one test, arrangements are being made for admission in all the Central Universities.
What is CUCET 2022?
CUCET 2022 stands for ‘Central Universities Common Entrance Test’. Through this test, arrangements are being made for admission to undergraduate programs in central universities across the country. If you also want to take admission to Central University, you can appear in CUCET for that.
CUCET exam is a joint entrance exam conducted for providing admission to various UG, PG, and other courses offered by central universities across the country.
Mostly CUCET Exam is usually conducted in the month of April. The CUCET 2022 Exam Pattern consists of two parts which aim to test the analytical knowledge and subject knowledge of the candidate.
What is the syllabus offered through the CUCET exam?
- Students can take the CUCET 2022exam for admission to various courses offered by the 10 participating universities.
- The courses offered under CUCET include undergraduate, integrated, postgraduate, diploma, and Ph.D. programs.
- Central Universities of Punjab, Haryana, Jammu, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kashmir, Kerala, Rajasthan, South Bihar, Tamil Nadu, and Bangalore School of Economics participate in the CUCET exam.

What are the Eligibility Criteria for CUCET 2022 Exam?
- CUCET Exam Qualification for Undergraduate Course-
- Minimum 50% marks in class 12th for general category candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.
- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Biology are the required subjects depending on the course you are looking for.
- CUCET Exam Qualification for Post Graduate Course-
- The minimum marks are 55% for the general category and 50% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD category students, at some places; there is a separate cut-off for OBC candidate students.
- Generally, a candidate needs to clear Bachelor in the same field or in any related field, of course, you want to take Masters, the details of the area for each course are given in the prospectus.
- CUCET Exam Qualification for Ph.D. Program-
- If you have qualified in UGC-CSIR JRF, GATE, NBHM or any other national level exam then you are exempted from appearing in the entrance test but required to register for CUCET.
- Master Degree in Any Stream with Minimum 55% Marks for General Candidates, 50% Marks for OBC Candidate and 45% Marks for SC/ ST/ PWD Candidates Required.
- Make the minimum eligibility changes course-wise, as the core subjects required for each course differ depending on the course you choose to enroll in.
Application for CUCET Exam 2022
- Candidates can avail CUCET Application Form online mode only through the website.
- The last date for filling and submitting the application is usually in March.
- Fill in all the mandatory details in the application like personal, academic, communication, and many others.
- Upload the scanned images of the latest photograph and signature.
- Pay the Application Fee Through Online Mode or Offline Mode.
- Candidates should take a printout of the filled application form of CUCET 2022 and do not forget to keep it safe for future references.
