OJEE Exam basic details which aspirants must know:-

The full form of the OJEE exam is Odisha Joint Entrance Examination.

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination is a state-govt managed centralized exam for admission to many governmental and private engineering, management and medical institutions in Odisha.

OJEE exam is taken after the 12th grade, diploma, degree for admission to graduation of lateral entry in B.Tech, lateral entry in B.Pharm, M.Tech, M.Pharm, B. Arch,  MBA, BDS, (also known as Bachelors), MCA, PDCM, PGDM, and courses.

B.Tech and MBBS courses have been withdrawn from Odisha Joint Entrance Examination after the notification of the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) & the JEE (Main).

 

What are the eligibility criteria for the Odisha JEE or OJEE 2022 exam?

For admission to first-year degree courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture and Pharmacy are-

  • Students applying for OJEE 2022 must be Indian nationals.
  • Other state candidates can also apply. For such candidates, a separate merit list will be released.
  • Interested candidates must have passed or appeared in the 10+2 examination of CHSE, Odisha in any one of the subjects namely Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational Subject, Electronics, Computer Science, and Information as compulsory subjects. Equivalent in Physics and Mathematics.
  • Technology, Geology, Statistics Candidate must have passed in individual subject with at least 45% marks in above subjects with 40% marks for candidate belonging to SC/ST category.

 

Eligibility Criteria for Pharmacy-

Aspiring candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with Mathematics and Biotechnology, Biology, any one of the technical vocational subjects.

The candidate must have passed in the individual subject with at least 45% marks in the above-mentioned subjects and 40% for the candidate belonging to SC/ST category.

OJEE-2022

Eligibility Criteria for Architecture:-

Interested candidates must have passed or appeared in the 10+2 examination of CHSE, Odisha as compulsory subjects with any one subject from Chemistry, Engineering Drawing, Computer Science, Biology, and Technical Vocational Subjects.

Candidate must have passed in the individual subject and must have at least 45% marks in above subjects and 40% for the candidate belonging to SC/ST category.

Admission to this course will be done on the basis of OJEE rank.
