With over 1.2 million followers on Weibo, Chinese blogger Mint Sauce Small Q (Q) has amassed quite a following. Her site has primarily concentrated on cosmetic products, and her followers definitely trust her. Last April, though, she went on a protracted sabbatical with no explanation.
Mint’s fans had been waiting anxiously for her to return, and she did it on May 22nd. Mint’s return was not a comeback as a blogger, unfortunately. It was to inform her of her stomach cancer and to say her final goodbyes.
Many people were surprised when the 35-year-old finally posted after a year of silence. “I’m afraid it’ll be too late to say farewell to you,” Mint apologized, “so I’ll officially say goodbye to you while I still have some strength left to type.” “I haven’t updated in over a year due to illness.” I have advanced gastric cancer, which is incurable and now deadly. Mint revealed that they only discovered the cancer after it had progressed to stage 4. She claimed it was extremely harmful and the worst type to acquire. Mint went on to say that it was most likely hereditary and caused by a gene mutation. To make matters worse, Mint, who is currently residing in Beijing’s Chaoyang District, is having difficulty obtaining medical attention. It’s tough for her to get transportation and get therapy elsewhere, she claims. She stated, “The clinical target test has been postponed indefinitely in Shanghai.” “I’m really looking forward to it.” Mint stated that there is no way to heal it.
Mint also shared photographs from before her operation last year, in addition to the announcement. “I probably knew (these) would be my postmortem images at the time,” she added, “but I like them very much.” “I will always be remembered as being 35 years old.”
Before she leaves, the blogger expressed her desire to catch up with friends and family. She intends to leave them photographs of their time together. Her parents, on the other hand, are already by her side. “I simply detest myself for having such a bad luck, and I’m sorry that my death came at such a bad moment,” Mint said.
Fans gathered to thank her for what she’d accomplished and to wish her well. Others rushed out to soothe her, recalling their first meeting with her.
