Musgraves can be seen on YouTube singing a song called “Halfway to Memphis” when she was only 18 years old. It would be another six years before her epic first album came out. Angela Hacker was the winner that year.

In the last episode of Season 1 of Nashville Star, Miranda Lambert is in the middle of Buddy Jewel and John Arthur Martinez. She came in third, after Jewell, who won. We still smile when we think about the video of her audition. “Greyhound Bound for Nowhere” is a song about cheating that she wrote with her dad.
Jennifer Wayne of Runaway June will be on “The Amazing Race”
Runaway June’s Jennifer Wayne and Caroline Cutbirth were on Season 24 of “The Amazing Race.” They came in second, behind a father and son team. Both of these teams also played in Season 22. They came in fourth and eighth, respectively. Teams that come in second are said to get $25,000.
