The Ace & TJ Show, a nationally syndicated morning radio show, is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
It is predominantly featured in the South of the United States and primarily appeals to Southerners.
On January 5, 2012, The Ace & TJ Show debuted as WHQC’s morning program. 96-1 (“Channel”).
On April 6, 1998, Charlotte’s WNKS (“Kiss 95.1”) broadcast the first song by Ace & TJ.
Following some unsuccessful contract discussions with CBS Radio, their last day on Kiss 95.1 was Friday, May 20, 2011.
As soon as their non-compete agreement ended on December 1, 2011, they started seeking for a new home station in Charlotte. Ace & TJ were nominated eight times for Radio and Records CHR “Personality Of The Year,” but they never won.
