12-yr-old boy with a gun robbed a gas station in Michigan Viral Video On Reddit & Twitter

In this video, you’ll see what happened at a gas station in Michigan.

A 12-year-old child was captured on camera with a gun robbing a Michigan gas station. The boy can be seen standing in line while a client in front of him pays for gas. He pulls a 9mm handgun from his black bag and demands money as soon as he reaches the front of the queue.

The toddler says calmly, “Place the money in the bag!” “Are you serious?” the cashier inquires. A round appears to be fired into the ceiling by the boy. The cashier initially flinches before rapidly withdrawing a bag of cash from the safe. She gives it to him with the instruction to “get out.”

As he walks away, the child tries to reload his gun, but it jams. One of the shell casings breaks and shatters on the ground. He walks away silently after that. Shortly after the armed robbery at the Marathon gas station on East Main Street, 911 dispatchers received a call.

The police station is only a block away from the gas station. Shortly later, the boy was captured by police.

In Van Buren County Family Court this week, the boy was charged with armed robbery, assault with a dangerous weapon, and discharge of a firearm. Tressa Beltran, the chief of the Hartford Police Department, apprehended him without incident. The boy allegedly told a classmate about his armed robbery preparations, according to officers. His grandfather’s locked safe was supposed to have been the source of the weapon. The grandfather of the boy claimed he had no idea his grandson had access to the safe.

The student is a Hartford Middle School student. He’ll be kept at the Allegan County Juvenile Center until his case is heard later this month.

Jessica, a store employee, told News Channel 3: “I figured he was a kid, not even 10 years old.” He appeared to be far too calm. I honestly thought it was a joke until the pistol went off. I wanted to hug the youngster since he has so many issues, but it’s difficult to sympathize with him when he acts like this. Nothing is worth my life, therefore I’ve always thought that if I’m robbed, I’ll hand over the money.”

At work, I learn something new every day. For the past 38 years, I’ve worked full-time as a police officer. “What shocked me the most was that he showed no emotion,” stated Lt. Mike Prince of Hartford. “He indicated that he was not in it for the money.” He claimed he would have flushed the money down the toilet if he had it. He was adamant about not saying why he did what he did.”

In the aftermath of the Uvalde school shooting, there has been ongoing discussion about ways to prevent gun violence.

On May 24, Salvador Ramos, an 18-year-old student at Uvalde’s Robb Elementary School, barricaded himself inside a classroom and murdered 19 kids and two teachers. The officers were chastised for failing to intervene quickly enough to halt the shooting and save the victims. An off-duty Customs and Border Patrol agent from an elite tactical unit shot and killed Ramos.
