Bill Schammert is a news anchor who recently said that he is leaving KETV Nebraska and moving to KETV Omaha.
When people found out that Bill is about to leave KETV, Nebraska, they went crazy on Twitter. He has been with KETV Nebraska for a long time, so fans are shocked by the news.
Schammert moved back to Lincoln in March 2017 to work as the anchor at 5 p.m. and the nightly reporter. Two months later, he was put in charge of the 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts as well as the 5 p.m. newscast.

Bill has confirmed on his Twitter account that he is leaving KETV. He said that he will always live in Nebraska, but that he will now work for KETV Omaha.
In the Tweet, he said that the next part of his journey with KETV Omaha is making him very happy. When most of his fans heard that Bill was leaving, they were shocked.
But it wasn’t long before they were sending him lots of good wishes on Twitter. His coworkers and peers also wished him the best on his new path.

What is Bill Schammert’s age?
Bill grew up in Lincoln, where he went to Lincoln Southwest High School and graduated from UNL. Every morning, he would get up early to watch SportsCenter at 6:00. He says that he knew from a young age that he wanted to be a broadcast journalist and was very clear about it.
At this time, Schammert should be in his late 40s. Bill was a student at UNL when he worked on the student-run news show Star City News. He worked as a reporter at WDAY in Fargo, North Dakota, after he got his degree.
He has also been an anchor for the news, a producer, and a photographer. Bill talked about the floods on the Red River in the spring of 2011 and how the people in the area worked so hard to save the cities of Fargo and Moorhead. This was one of the most important things that happened to him.
He also got to talk to some well-known republican candidates for president. Bill moved and came back to Lincoln. He is now the weekend anchor for Channel 8 Eyewitness News.

When Bill isn’t on TV, he and his wife Kym might be found in Lincoln, Nebraska, enjoying all the city has to offer. It’s hard to believe how quickly things can change there. He also likes to work out at the gym or play pick-up basketball games. Bill and Kym had two boys, Theo and Cameron.
