Collegiate
Botterill went to Harvard University and was on the women’s ice hockey team for the Harvard Crimson from 1998 to 2003. Harvard and a number of media outlets say that Botterill has the most points in the history of college ice hockey in the United States (149 goals, 170 assists, 319 points). Botterill’s record is not recognized by the NCAA because women’s hockey was not an official NCAA sport during her first two years of college.
