The strange, but true, turn of events came after one of the lawyers for a family suing Jones for defamation said last week that Jones’s lawyer had accidentally given over a number of texts belonging to the far-right provocateur and then did nothing to keep them out of court.
Mark Bankston, the lawyer whose information was accidentally leaked, said on Monday’s episode of The Young Turks, a progressive news commentary show, that one of the texts in question was a naked photo of Jones’ wife that was sent to Stone, who used to be Donald Trump’s adviser.
Bankston also wondered if Jones’s wife, Erika Wulff Jones, had told him it was okay to send that picture to Stone or anyone else. Before Bankston said anything on Monday, Jones went on a rant about the leak on his right-wing conspiracy internet radio show Infowars. He said that the people who were suing him now had a photo of his wife that showed her in a private moment.

Jones went to court against Neil Heslin and Scarlett Lewis, the parents of Jesse Lewis, because Jones’s legal team accidentally gave out his texts.
The texts were important because they showed that he lied under oath when he said that his iPhone didn’t have any information about the Sandy Hook murders.
