For 14 incidents of domestic violence against his ex-wife between July 5, 2018 and January 27, 2019, Jonah Keri, 47, guilty to 14 counts of domestic violence.
He was jailed three times in the last few months of 2019. A number of sources indicate that the alleged assaults took place between July 2018 and July 2019. The journalist was arrested on July 18, 2019, and was released on bail the following day.
His second arrest followed on November 27, 2019, and his third arrest followed on December 10, 2019, bringing his total number of arrests to three.
In addition, he has been suspected of committing criminal activities. They included striking and kicking their wife in the face, threatening to take their unborn child from her body with a kitchen knife, and threatening to toss her off a balcony if she did not comply.
