The last episode of Season 4 of Westworld was called “Que Será, Será.” It was written by Alison Schapker and Jonathan Nolan, and Richard J. Lewis was in charge of directing it. As usual, the official summary of the episode doesn’t say much about what will happen to keep people interested.
After the shocking events of the second-to-last episode, the finale almost feels like a post-apocalyptic scene. But the show could easily go into more end-of-the-world situations as long as William keeps making people scared. The summary could give a hint about what William is up to as his new, improved version causes trouble.
With Christina losing her power and control, the version of New York City that has been built over the course of the season could very well fall apart. After the bloodbath in the last episode, it looks like the strongest will win from here on out.
Who died in the seventh episode of Season 4 of Westworld?
In Season 4’s second-to-last episode, which was the most shocking of the season, many characters met terrible ends.
Bernard died while trying to come up with a plan to save the world. As planned, he stormed the tower with Maeve, who had just woken up, where she fought Hale. C, aka Frankie, and Stubbs went through Olympiad Entertainment to attack Hale’s facility, where they found her father Caleb.
William killed both Maeve and Hale after they fought, which was a sad end to their fight. He then went to the top of the tower, where Bernard was recording a message for someone, and killed him as well. Earlier in the episode, William had also killed his real-life self, who had been kept alive by Hale in a cryogenic cell.
After killing Bernard, William played a sick and twisted game of “survival of the fittest” by making people in cities kill each other. In the last scene of the episode, he was on his own way into the city.
Teddy told Christina that she couldn’t stop the humans from fighting because they couldn’t see her. Christina was trying to stop them from fighting.
