What Religion Is Nikolas Cruz? Is The Parkland High Shooter Christian Or Catholic

Many people think that Nikolas Croz, the Parkland shooter, did what he did because of his religion.

Nikolas Cruz, the Parkland School Shooter, did a terrible thing on February 14, 2018, at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. He killed 17 innocent people and hurt 17 others.

Cruz shot at students and teachers at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, killing 17 people. He ran away, and an hour later, he was caught in Coral Springs and charged with 17 murders and 17 attempted murders.

Nikolas Cruz pleaded guilty to killing 14 students and three staff members at Parkland High School on October 20, 2021.

The shooting at Parkland High School killed more people than any other high school shooting in U.S. history.

Family history of a troubled kid named Nikolas

Nikolas Jacob, who is now 23, was born in Margate, Florida. He and his brother were taken in by Lynda and Rodger Cruz when they were young. By the time he was 6, his father had died of a heart attack, which he saw and which caused him a lot of pain.

His mother, Lynda, died two months before the Parkland mass shooting. Later, court records showed that Nikolas has a half-sister named Daniella who is 31 years old.

Cruz was a troubled child. At age 3, he was told he was behind in his development. Nikolas was diagnosed with depression, emotional behavioral disability, autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, anger issues, and obsessive-compulsive disorder, among others.

Cruz had a history of being violent and rough with his mother and brother, which was written down. Nikolas Cruz’s religion and family background are still a mystery.

Nikolas was kicked out of Douglas High School

People who used to be in the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps talked a lot about guns and bullets. He was a member of the varsity air rifle team at his MSD.

At one point, bullets were found in his backpack when he went to school. Because of this, when he was in Junior High, he was kicked out of Douglas High. When he was a student at Douglas High, he had to deal with a lot of violent punishments. After he was kicked out, Cruz went to a different Broward County school.

Cruz was a former student at MSD High. He wasn’t very friendly, and he had trouble making friends. his friends and brother Zachery picked on him a lot. Students at Douglas High say he was called a “weirdo, creep, and freak” at school.

Before the Parkland High School shooting, his mother had called the police 23 times in the last 10 years.

Either the death penalty or life in prison

The prosecutors want Cruz to get the death penalty, but Cruz’s defense team is hoping for a life sentence since he has admitted to all the charges.

The defense could say that the gunman was not able to do what he did because of mental illness. Brenda Woodard, who was his real mother, was an alcoholic and drug addict. She was arrested because she bought cocaine while she was carrying Cruz. Most likely, the defense team will bring it up when the jury decides whether or not to give the gunman the death penalty or life in prison.

Even though his biological mother had nothing to do with how he was raised, her drug use while he was still in the womb did affect his genes.

Now, the jury has to decide

But because this crime was planned ahead of time, it might be hard for the defense to make that case.

Due to the Corona Virus pandemic, the MSD massacre that happened four years ago kept getting pushed back. But the trial to decide how long the MSD shooter will go to prison started on Monday. For which, the jury must now decide if the gunman will get the death penalty or life in prison.

As you can see in the picture above, this terrible act affected everyone at Parkland High School and the families of the people who died. Well, it still haunts everyone in the country who was hurt by it in some way. Thousands, if not millions, of people across the country were hurt by this act of terror. Should the person who shot the person be put to death or let go? What do you think about this?
