Williams began his career as an actor when he was just 4 years old.

Later on, he played himself (or an eponymous character named “Tyler”) on the PBS series Sesame Street from the years 2000 to 2005. During that time, he briefly replaced Devon Malik Beckford in the role of Bobby in the animated film Little Bill, which he starred in as the voice of Bobby in the year 2000.
