Tom, who is based in Sydney and works for Newshub as an Australian correspondent, saw the Sydney siege from his newsroom across the street as he covered it after being let out of a police lockdown. Tom was sent to Kuala Lumpur to cover both the MH370 plane crash and the MH17 plane crash. He was also in Paris to report on the attack on the Bataclan Theater.
