TOM HOLLAND IS DEAD’ POST DEBUNKED AS ACTOR IS ALIVE AND DOING WELL IN 2022

“RIP Tom Holland” became a hashtag after a post said that Tom Holland would be dead in 2022. But the actor is still alive and doing fine.

Again, social media seems to have made people think that a famous person has died. This isn’t the first time the platform has been taken over by a death hoax.

In the past, this has happened to celebrities like Lil Tjay, Eminem, and others. Tom is the latest one to join the list.

“TOM HOLLAND IS DEAD” POST WAS CHECKED OUT

A post from an Instagram page called big chungles started the online rumors that Tom was dead. “Tom Holland 1996-2022” was written on the post, which showed a picture of the actor. The picture could fool anyone who saw it for the first time.

To make it seem more real, the admin wrote an emotional caption in which he said that Tom was his favorite Spider-Man and that the actor had always been his hero. “#liveanotherdayspiderman” was written as a hashtag next to it.

Since the platform has more than 185k followers, it didn’t take long for people to notice the post. After this, other people started sharing the same post, and some of them made their own image and changed it. This made the hashtag “RIP Tom Holland” popular.

THE CHARACTER IS ALIVE AND WELL.

Tom is still around and doing fine. He is, unfortunately, the victim of a social media death hoax that is spreading like wildfire.

In fact, the photo that was shared online as part of the hoax post was one that the actor had posted to Instagram a week earlier. In it, Tom talked about the T-shirt from The Brothers Trust. The NGO wants to bring attention to charities that might not get it otherwise.

By selling merchandise, Tom has been trying to raise money for different charities that are working hard for a cause.
