The Horatio Sanz issue at “Saturday Night Live”: Did Tina Fey and Will Ferrell know that their co-star abused a young fan?
In front of a slew of SNL stars, Sanz is accused of kissing the minor victim, groping her breast and buttocks, and digitally penetrating her genitals. The incident allegedly took place in 2013.

Caution is advised, as the article describes sexual assaults in detail, which may be distressing to some readers.

During his time as a cast member on ‘Saturday Night Live,’ comedian Horatio Sanz is accused of grooming a teenage girl and sexually assaulting her. The alleged incidents occurred 21 years ago, when Sanz was still in his 20s. A new development appears to have been made in the case. Allegedly, Tina Fey, Will Ferrell, and Maya Rudolph witnessed their co-star Horatio sexually attack the girl but did nothing to stop him. Maya Rudolph was also implicated in the incident.

According to reports published by RadarOnline.com, Sanz is accused of kissing the victim, who was approximately 17 years old at the time, groping her breast and buttocks, and digitally penetrating her genitals during an after-party that took place in May of 2002. This allegedly occurred in front of a number of SNL stars. According to the allegations made in the lawsuit, the defendant “also massaged Plaintiff’s vagina over top of her garments.” The victim looked up and discovered that many members of the cast of Saturday Night Live from the year 2002 were standing in the entranceway chatting with one another while they observed Sanz touching her. Among those cast members were Ana Gasteyer, Tina Fey, Rachel Dratch, Will Ferrell, and Maya Rudolph.

“He knew my age,” the accuser of Horatio Sanz says, dragging Jimmy Fallon into the horrific underage sex scandal that he is embroiled in.

The accusation as well as the legal action

The lawsuit that was filed on August 12 in New York alleges that Sanz inappropriately touched and digitally penetrated a girl who was 17 years old during after-parties for Saturday Night Live in May of 2002. The behavior of Sanz is alleged to have been “permitted and supported” by both NBC and SNL, which are both named as defendants in the case filed against Sanz.

Plaintiff Jane Doe, a lady from Pennsylvania, sought to conceal her identify in the complaint that she submitted owing to the fact that she was a minor at the time of the alleged unwanted sexual contact with the defendant. Jane Doe filed the complaint. She stated that she had her first interaction with Sanz online when she was 15 years old and was operating an SNL fan site. According to the allegations, Sanz “began his process of grooming Plaintiff” in January of 2000. This process included a face-to-face contact in October of 2000, which took place after a filming of Saturday Night Live. During their face-to-face contact after the taping of an episode of Saturday Night Live, Sanz allegedly became physically affectionate and flirty with the 15-year-old girl by putting his hands on her waist and kissing her cheek. The lawsuit also claims that he did this while he was intoxicated. The lawsuit stated further that Sanz began chatting with the minor on AOL Instant Messenger in 2001 and purposefully steered conversations to discuss sex, sexual experiences, sexual activities, sexual fantasies, masturbation, as well as solicit inappropriate photographs from Doe. The lawsuit was filed in California.

Doe made the claim in May 2002 that when she was 17 years old, she went with Sanz to two after-parties for Saturday Night Live. Doe claims that she was assaulted by the comedian at one of the parties that was held in the loft of one of the cast members. In addition to this, she mentioned that one of the NBC staffers who was present at the party witnessed this happening and asked the individual in question, “Are you f***ing serious?”

Andrew Brettler, who represents Sanz, issued a statement to Vulture in which he refuted all of the allegations that have been leveled against his client and described them as unequivocally baseless. He added, “No matter how many times she repeats her ridiculous charges or tries to lure in other high-profile names to attract media attention, they will always be bogus.” He was referring to the fact that she had previously repeated her ridiculous allegations.
