This sci-fi drama has done everything possible to make you feel like you’re on the edge of your seat!
With the release of this sci-fi drama that has a little romance, Showtime sure knows how to get people excited about their shows. This show is filled with danger, survival, hope, and love, but it also leaves you with a sense of euphoria.
There isn’t any way this story is based on Nicolas Roeg’s 1976 movie with David Bowie. When the story is told, it pays homage to the history of sci-fi films. An alien has to learn how to live in a world where people live. He has to come to terms with his own past in order to decide the future of the world. The story shows him looking for a woman who can help save his species, but while he’s looking, they get caught up in a situation where they have to save people first.
A synopsis of ‘The Man Who Fell to Earth’
“In New Mexico, an alien named Chiwetel Ejiofor crashes into the oil fields with a mission: he must find the brilliant scientist Justin Falls (Naomie Harris), who is the only person on Earth who can help save his species. Even though he’s having a hard time adapting to our world and becoming more “human,” her faith in humanity couldn’t be any less. Two people who don’t know each other very well work together to save his world. To do that, they have to save ours. This is a continuation of the novel by Walter Tevis and the famous 1976 movie with David Bowie.”
Chiwetel Ejiofor as Faraday
Chiwetel Ejiofor is a world-famous, British actor who has also worked as a director and producer. He has been on stage, in TV shows, and in movies. He played Solomon Northup in the movie “12 Years a Slave,” which is a movie that should not be missed. His first movie, Steven Spielberg’s “Amistad,” came out at the age of 13, and Ejiofor was cast in it (1997).
The movie “Dirty Pretty Things” came out in 2002, and he starred in it. It won the Best Independent British Film Award in 2003. When he played in Woody Allen’s “Merinda and Merinda” (2004), Julian Jarrold’s “Kinky Boots” (2005), and “Serenity,” Ejiofor became a big star (2005). Another time that changed his life was when he played Karl Mordo in the superhero movie “Doctor Strange,” which is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Naomie Harris as Justin Falls
Naomie Melanie Harris is an English actress in movies, TV shows, and theatre. She is from London. ‘Simon and the Witch’ was the first show she starred in. Her career took off after that. In 2000, she came back to TV with the British show “Dream Team.” With 13 years of TV experience under her belt, she made her first appearance on the big screen in the action-fantasy movie “Crust,” which was directed by Mark Locke. She played a small role in the movie.
A lot of people also know her from her roles on two and three Pirates of the Caribbean films.

Sonya Cassidy, Bill Nighy, Joana Ribeiro, Jimmi Simpson, Kate Mulgrew, Rob Delaney, and Clarke Peters are the last of the cast members who are still on the show, though.
