Dofflemyer stated that three cops encountered the suspect’s vehicle and that he started shooting when authorities initiated a traffic stop. Dofflemyer also stated that the suspect was shot by the officers. The officers opened fire in return, wounding the man in the process. According to Dofflemyer, the cop who was hurt is making a remarkable recovery, and the suspect was being dealt with as of Thursday night.
In a statement, the authorities said that they are continuing their investigation into the instructions to determine the cause of the shooting that took place there and resulted in the deaths of two people.
