Sarah Escobar, Gavin Escobar Wife, Two Kids And Net Worth

Gavin and Sarah Escobar have been married since they were young adults. Together, they faced the ups and downs of life and hoped to stay together until the end.

But Sarah’s hopes and promises fell apart when she heard that her husband had died and that his body had been found at Idyllwild after what seemed to be a rock climbing accident.

Her husband played tight end for the National Football League for six seasons as a professional football player. Escobar played college football for the San Diego State Aztecs. From 2013 to 2017, he was on the Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens.

Since 2012, the couple has been together

According to the information posted on their Twitter account, Gavin and Sarah appear to have been dating since their senior year of high school. In 2013, they put up their first picture on social media.

But since Gravin played for the Aztecs from 2009 to 2012, Sarah shows her support for the team in many of her posts. This means that the couple probably started dating around this time.

In a similar way, Sarah’s post from July 18, 2013, shows the couple swimming together in Lake Arrowhead.

After that, in 2014, she was seen supporting the Aztecs and the boys by posting pictures of their headwear with the respective symbols.

The couple are both active on Twitter

Gavin and Sarah both use Twitter, but it doesn’t look like they have accounts on Facebook or Instagram. Gavin has 59,7k verified followers on Twitter, while Sarah only has 74 app followers.

Escobar was also a year older than his wife, who was turning 31 in December. Gavin’s post gives us the birth date, though.

He sent a tweet to his partner on December 12, 2013, wishing her a happy birthday and reminding her that she would only turn 22 once.

Gavin and Sarah have two little girls

Escobar and his wife, Sarah, had two daughters named Josey Escobar and Charlotte Escobar.

His girls might be between 5 and 10 years old. The inference is based on a tweet from 2016 that showed a picture of his daughter when she was a toddler.

The football player was a loving father and husband who put his family first.

Erin and Harry Escobar are the parents of Gavin, a football player

Escobar’s parents, Harry and Erin Escobar, raised him and his brother. He remembered a time when his dad was the quarterback in a game of football between him and his two brothers in the backyard.

Gavin Escobar, a rookie tight end for the Dallas Cowboys, talks about his father, Harry Escobar, by talking about a sport his father played.

Even though football wasn’t his favorite sport, his dad liked sports in general. He used to play baseball and coach minor league teams, so he didn’t mind playing football with his boys to keep them busy.

Gavin and his 76-year-old father are close, even though they don’t see each other as often as they used to.

The Dallas Morning News says that Gavin’s move from California to Texas and Harry’s better health have made a lot of space available.

He helped his father deal with a brain injury

Harry was moved to an assisted living facility in December 2013 after a series of falls caused his brain to bleed. He had surgery, but getting better has been hard, so he needs care around the clock.

During that time, Harry can talk, but he has trouble remembering things and staying on his feet. So, it would be hard for Gavin’s father to go to Cowboys Stadium during Gavin’s first season to watch his son play.

Gavin has found ways to deal with the brain damage his father has because of football. Gavin could take his mind off of his dad’s problems for a while by focusing on his busy schedule as a student-athlete at San Diego State, on getting ready for the NFL Draft, and on the Cowboys’ off-season practices.

On April 26, the family could share an event that would be memorable. When the Cowboys picked Gavin with the 47th pick in the NFL Draft, the Escobar family was all together at their home in Newport Beach.

Dallas Cowboys was where Gavin Escobar’s professional career began

On September 8, 2013, Escobar, who was 22 at the time, played in his first NFL game with the Cowboys. They beat the New York Giants 36-31.

During his rookie year, he was supposed to be a pass-catching option in the two tight end sets. However, he was only used a few times, so he only caught nine passes for 134 yards and two touchdowns.

In his second year in the league, he was still a backup, but James Hanna, who blocked for the running back, moved ahead of him on the depth chart.

In the end, he caught nine passes for 105 yards and four touchdowns. He was mostly used on special teams and in the red zone.

How much did Escobar have in his bank account?

Spotrac says that Gavin Escobar was worth between $5 million and $7 million.

Escobar was a popular American football player who was picked 47th overall by the NFL in 2013. Gavin’s net worth kept going up every year because he was a hard worker who didn’t give up on his job.

He was also well liked by his coworkers and supporters, and it is said that he had an amazing collection of cars.

As a free agent on March 31, 2017, Escobar signed a one-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs to add depth to a spot that wasn’t clear.

At the time, backup Demetrius Harris was in jail for felony cocaine possession and possession of paraphernalia, and starter Travis Kelce was recovering from off-season shoulder surgery.

Escobar, on the other hand, was fired on September 2 because he couldn’t beat Ross Travis on the depth chart.

Gavin’s salary as a football player was $790,000

Spotrac says that Escobar signed a one-year contract worth $790,000 in 2018. This makes his annual salary about $790,000.

The Squander says that the starting salaries of NFL players are between $400,000 and $600,000. The National Football League has a salary cap of about $170 million, but top players can make $50 million or more.

After Maxx Williams hurt his ankle again on October 23, 2017, the Baltimore Ravens signed Escobar to add more depth to their team. After a few months, on November 18, he was let go so that Danny Woodhead could take his place.

He also made a deal with the Cleveland Browns for a reserve/future contract from January 15, 2018, to April 12, 2018. He also signed with the Miami Dolphins in the same month. But he was set free on September 1 of that year.

After being let go by the Dolphins, Escobar joined the San Diego Fleet, which is part of the new Alliance of American Football. But on April 1, 2019, the 33-year-old was put on injured reserve. The last game of the league was in April 2019.

Gavin Walsh and Chelsea Walsh died in a sad accident

ESPN says that Gavin Escobar was found dead near Idyllwild, California, after a rock climbing accident.

Two climbers had an accident near Tahquitz Rock in the San Bernardino National Forest. Firefighters were called to the scene. The other climber was named as 33-year-old Chelsea Walsh.

The authorities say that Gavin and Chelsea died while climbing up a “rock face.”

Even though it rained in the area earlier in the day, officials didn’t know right away if the weather had anything to do with the deaths.

On the other hand, Chelsea Walsh used to work for a charity called Road Trip Nation and loved to climb rocks. She recently helped make a film about climbers who overcame problems with food.
