Lizzie Wemyss is one of the characters in Starz’s historical series “Outlander.” She is very cute. She goes from Scotland to the New World with Brianna as her servant and handmaid. For when Jamie and his family move into Fraser’s Ridge, Lizzie will help Brianna or Claire at any time. In the fifth episode of season 6, Lizzie gets malaria and has to stay in bed. In spite of how long it took her to get to America, her disease and her poor health condition should be scaring viewers and making them wonder what will happen to her. Is Lizzie Going To Die?
Lizzie is with Brianna, Marsali, and Malva in the fifth episode of season 6. Brianna is looking for a spot near the river where she can put her waterwheel to fill her cistern. As they walk by the river, Brianna faints and falls to the ground, then wakes up. Brianna takes care of her and learns that Lizzie has malaria. She starts to get better with the help of the Beardsley twins. They look after Lizzie and give her medicine. Lizzie’s condition isn’t perfect, but she is making progress in her recovery, which means that she will most likely survive the sometimes fatal disease.
It’s also possible that Lizzie will not die in Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander novels, which are the source texts for the show. If you read the source novel for Season 6 called “A Breath of Snow and Ashes,” it says that Lizzie has completely recovered from malaria and can go about her day-to-day life. We may not have to worry about Lizzie dying because the sixth season is supposed to follow the main plot of the book. This means that in the next few episodes, Lizzie will be taken care of by the Beardsley twins. Because they want to help Lizzie, they may also become closer to each other because of it.
