Sowore is the winner of the AAC Presidential Ticket
Omoyele Sowore, publisher of the Sahara Reporters, has been re-nominated as the African Action Congress’s (AAC) presidential candidate for the 2023 general election.
At the party’s national conference in Abuja on Thursday, delegates elected the publisher as its flag bearer.
Sowore declared his decision to step down as AAC chairman, a post he recently obtained through a court judgment, prior to his arrival at the conference.
