Oh, right. Additionally, there was a case of the week concerning genetic weaponry that, at most, had a tenuous connection to Deeks’ predicament.

In the fourteenth episode of NCIS: Los Angeles, Deeks Struggles is a squatter.

The situation began as threatening to an indeterminate number of people, was downplayed to a personal issue, then erupted again, targeting a bigger group.

An inferior Marine started abruptly becoming better before having a seizure. Everyone involved could sense something was off because of this.

NCIS: Los Angeles, Season 14, Episode 7, “Bioweapon Threat”

The issue got problematic for Kilbride and his team when it appeared that the Marine was a victim of a genetic weapon, as the military brass immediately assumed the worst. Even though it didn’t make much sense for a foreign power or terrorist organization to attack a lowly PFC, it nonetheless happened.

The next logical step was to assume that the victim and his roommate were sneaking bioweapons onto their base due to the victim’s increased interest in cryptocurrencies. That theory gathered traction when the roommate vanished with the victim’s phone and car.

That wasn’t the case, though. Instead, they paid a rogue scientist for muscle-building supplements to become better Marines through chemistry.

The chemist was found dead and stashed in a freezer by only Deeks; his roommate did not commit the murder.

NCIS: Los Angeles, Season 14, Episode 7, Finding Intel

In the episode’s closing 15 minutes, the cast revealed the identity of the mysterious assistant. He turned out to be a self-hating diabetic who was out to kill people similar to him. He was ultimately stopped by a woman who had a magnetic hand.

To reach the solution, we had to endure a side story with a bunch of social warrior scientists trying to better the lives of the less fortunate by operating outside corporate systems.

One of these scientists, a considerable cyborg, used his antenna to recognize the undercover Fatima as a Fed. Surprisingly, his coworkers trusted her explanation more than his charge. He must have been difficult to take seriously due to his protrusion.

However, following a brief vehicle chase and standoff, Herman the Cyborg assisted Fatima in figuring out the killer’s plan of attack in time for Sam and Callen to stop him.

NCIS: Los Angeles, Season 14, Episode 7, “Poisoned Marine”

On NCIS: Los Angeles Season 14 Episode 3, the body stitchers appeared first and are now cyborgs. The season has been great for trying out different genres. What follows—a Western? Let’s pray. Callen would make a fantastic nameless gunslinger.

Now that we have resolved this peculiar issue let’s speak about how Deeks handled his new situation.

A sick child is one of the worst things a parent can deal with. Deeks at least had the benefit of a teenager who could explain her symptoms.

It took him time to realize this, but he also had Roberta living not far from him. Rosa was cared for by a veteran parent when Deeks’ wife Kensi was abroad for training.

NCIS: Los Angeles, Season 14, Episode 7, “Uncertain Deeks”

The question of whether Roberta will become an on-screen or off-screen presence now that she has been reinstated in Los Angeles was answered in that first scene. She will initially seize upon being a grandmother with both hands.

Roberta can be a pain. However, she had been through so much as a parent, including coping with an abusive marriage and defending Martin, that she thought taking care of a teenager with the flu would be easy. Deeks didn’t need to be concerned.

Kilbride can be pardoned for shoving Deeks down his throat when his supervisors are all over him. Rosa was ill, but Deeks was not one to create an excuse, unlike the other team members. He and Kensi would have to adapt to being working parents, which would be challenging.

Deeks differs from the kind of agent Kilbride prefers, which didn’t help (Sam is to provide the standard). He remarks, “hippie,” when he sees Deeks. Deeks will constantly need to perform a little better to win the admiral over.

Deeks completed his work after taking his lumps from Kilbride. You could feel Deeks’ sympathy leave him as he silently fretted about Rosa at home as Hanson’s mother described how she felt when her child was ill.

It was upsetting to see Deeks find Yost’s dead body before turning around to phone Roberta to see how Rosa was doing. And was it shocking that Roberta hadn’t realized she could stream movies rather than carry her DVDs?

The speed with which Kilbride gave up on managing Ops and brought back the similarly uncomfortable Deeks to staff was amusing. That is a benefit of being in charge.

They need a refresher on managing Ops, which isn’t entirely as error-free as Eric had intended.

Nevertheless, Deeks correctly identified the murderer and brought Sam and Callen to the spot of the intercept in time.

Do Kilbride justice. He acknowledged his shortcomings as a dad after Fatima told him about Deeks’ situation and urged Deeks to perform better than him.

Teaser from Joe Rutland’s NCIS: Los Angeles

Although it should soon be Hetty Lange’s turn to return to NCIS: Los Angeles, things are still being determined. Who can shed some light on this situation for us? None other than Chris O’Donnell’s Special Agent G Callen. He is preparing for his nuptials to Bar Paly’s Anna Koscheck. This teaser gives us a little more insight into Hetty. On the program, Linda Hunt plays Hetty.

Callen and Anna are about to get engaged. However, this teaser also reveals that, as portrayed by LL Cool J, Sam Hanna isn’t a fan of Callen’s prep work in this scene. The forthcoming episode, titled Glory of the Sea, has this exchange between Callen and Sam. Callen acknowledges that he is without a suit for the significant occasion. Callen responded, “I don’t need your person. You may believe me, Sam retorted. I won’t be standing there with a dejected groom, I promise.

Callen, Hannah Back and forth discussion about Hetty On “NCIS: Los Angeles,” Callen ignores Hanna’s suggestions. However, according to Express, his partner is adamant that Callen should not enter the church wearing a field suit. The tailor Callen uses is accustomed to a “particular kind of clientele,” Hanna cautions him. Then Callen queries what Hanna means. The kind, Sam added, “that doesn’t walk down the aisle sporting a suit covered in ricochets.” Callen promised to have the outfit dry-cleaned twice to remove gunpowder and blood stains.

If you do that, Hetty will murder you, Sam said. Well, she’d have to come out of hiding. First, Callen said. Okay, so will Hetty appear on NCIS: Los Angeles soon or not? As far as we know, Linda Hunt has missed a few episodes. Hunt was residing in her house in the Los Angeles region during the COVID-19 pandemic’s peak. Some of the scenes were shot on her front driveway.

Will Hetty Appear Before Callen’s Wedding?

Remember how Callen and Kilbride, played by Gerald McRaney, believed Hetty had been killed in combat in Syria earlier this season? See, there were the remains of a small woman that other NCIS agents had discovered. But they eventually learned that Hetty had faked her demise.

“Several human remains were discovered within [an abandoned school].” One of the officers informed Callen that they were charred beyond recognition. However, one of the bodies was identified by paperwork as being an American woman named Trudy Chambers. Callen, though, believed it to be Hetty.

NCIS (franchise) Crossovers are another option.
