The YouTuber who usually posts videos about arts and crafts took a break from her usual videos to tell a big secret she has been keeping for over a year. Yes, she did have a child. Moriah has shown the world her little bundle of joy, who is now 10 months old and couldn’t be any cuter.
WHO IS MORIAH ELIZABETH?
The YouTuber, who is 27 years old, has been on the site since 2010 and has steadily gained seven million followers since then. The creative person who is known for her “squishy” makeovers and “create this book” also sells popular squishy merchandise.
Moriah is also well-known for the creative squishy characters she shows on her channel. The one with the most fans is Pickle, who is a dinosaur.
She isn’t just adding to her collection of squishy toys—she also paints, cooks, and shops at thrift stores, all of which she shares on her channel.
KEEPING HER PREGNANCY A SECRET
Yesterday, Moriah shared a secret about herself that was similar to Kylie Jenner’s: she was a mom.
In late 2020, she found out she was pregnant. It took her a while to get used to what would be a big change in her life. She said she always thought she would have kids, but her pregnancy was a “big surprise.”
In a 2019 Q&A video, Moriah said, “I do want kids someday, but not right now.”
As time went on and she learned more about her pregnancy, she still hadn’t posted anything on her channel.
She said, “For the first few months, all I wanted to do was think about what was going on and start getting ready.”
In her video, Moriah talks about how hard it is to live the way she does and raise a child.
She says, “I had to decide whether or not to talk about her and how I would talk about her. I ended up not saying a word the whole time I was pregnant.”
FILMING WHILST PREGNANT
The American YouTuber also talked about how hard it was to hide the fact that she was pregnant when she was making videos. She says that no one said anything, so she must have done a good job.
She admitted to filming while she was sick in the morning and had to raise her desk to hide her growing stomach. She even had her partner post on YouTube while she was giving birth.
REVEALING HER BABY
She says, “I was ready to tell you about her, but I kept putting it off because I was worried about how you would react.”
Moriah says that her daughter won’t be in her crafting videos as often as she used to be. She says, “She’s a baby now, and she’s changed so much,” but from now on, her daughter won’t be there.
Moriah doesn’t tell her daughter her name because she wants her to be able to decide how much privacy she wants. She wants to protect her daughter on a platform where people can be so openly mean.
