The drag queen with the most experience and age is Minnie Cooper, 50, who will compete in Drag Race Down Under, which premieres on WOW on July 30. The queens will be evaluated according on how well they perform in various tasks and rounds. Only the final queen will be named the champion of Drag Race Down Under after several rounds of elimination.
All about Drag Race Down Under Season 2’s Minnie Cooper
Minnie Cooper was “adopted and nurtured by drag queens,” who taught her all there was to know about lipstick, platform heels, miming, glitter, and everything in between.
When the Australian performer was six years old, she began doing drag. From Oxford Street in Sydney to Oxford Circus in London, she has thrilled audiences during her long and illustrious career of more than 20 years.
More than anybody else, she has won more DIVA (Drag Industry Variety Awards) honours, including four times as Entertainer of the Year, Sydney’s Favorite Drag Queen, and Choreographer of the Year.
She also competed on Australia’s Got Talent in 2016, where she charmed the judges and audience with her drag and musical theatre skills. Additionally, she has played for Kylie in 2019 and Cher at the Mardi Gras in 2018.

With her solo performance From Chorus Boy to Leading Lady, the dancer, singer, and choreographer entered the cabaret scene in 2018. 2019’s Sydney Fringe Festival’s Best in Cabaret & Musical Theatre Award went to her performance. Even at Trevor Ashley’s Mardi Gala in the Sydney Opera House, she commanded attention.
Additionally, Minne Cooper judged All Together Now, starred in the fourth season of the Netflix series Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father, and hosted the internet streaming show Live From Stonewall. Her programme was one of the nominees for best internet streaming show in Time Out magazine.
The “Super Duper Minnie Cooper!” has developed numerous award-winning shows and choreographed numerous massive spectacles at occasions like Sleaze Ball and Flash Mobs, to name a few.
