Nine-year-old Lilia Valutyte was stabbed to death in Boston. She was recognized by the Lincolnshire Police, and the senior officer had described Lilia’s passing as “an utter tragedy.”
The exceptionally trained cops alerted Lilia’s parents and helped them after finding the body. Home Secretary Priti Patel described the event as “appalling.”
On Fountain Lane, flowers and memorials have been laid near to the area.
Chief Superintendent Kate Anderson, the commander of the East Area, said: “Our thoughts remain with Lilia’s family and friends. If any members of the public have information that could be useful, please call 101 and reference incident 419 of July 28. Alternatively, they can report anonymously through Crimestoppers.”
There may be flowers and tributes placed near the intersection of Fountain Lane and Fountain Place, according to sources.

Later on Thursday night, police cars were seen parked at the scene on either side of an alleyway to keep the people out. Two forensic officers were working at the location early on Friday morning before the cops left.
