To make the music legend’s death about him, the pop star finds a way to move past the heartache.
Most of the music world used social media to show off their broken hearts after Prince died. Justin Bieber, on the other hand, used it to show off his hurt butt.
When Prince died, Andrew Watt wrote on Instagram: “Today waking up to this news I am truly beside myself…devastated…the last of the greatest living performers. I will miss him so much.”
When Justin Bieber saw Watt’s post about Prince’s death, he said: “Well not the last best living performer.”
The comment stayed on the post for a long time as other Instagram users slammed him for being rude.
“@justinbieber “Wow, that’s really bad for you to say,” said one commenter, who showed a lot of restraint.
Keep in mind that the great artists who died made way for your favourite ones. If they didn’t exist, neither would the careers of people like Justin Bieber, said another person, who was a lot more irate than the first.
Then, “You already don’t have enough time to meet the needs of your fans. You’re not even 25.” When Prince was 57, he was still going on tour. At 57, you will be done. Not going on tour, not making music that people can relate to. Another user said, “Humble yourself,” and he or she was acting with the right amount of restraint.
Prince’s death hasn’t caused Justin Bieber to make a public statement about it. He hasn’t done this through his representatives or on social media, like other celebrities, such as Stevie Wonder and Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry and Dwayne Johnson.
Prince was found dead at his Paisley Park home in Minnesota on Thursday, and the cause of death was not given. An autopsy will be done by local medical examiners on Friday. Prince is said to have been treated for a drug overdose earlier this week.
