Is WWE Beth Phoenix Related To Natalya? Brother and Family Ties

Beth Phoenix and Natalya were both well-known superstars in WWE, and they knew each other. Fans loved seeing them work together on-screen in WWE.

Elizabeth Copeland, better known as Beth Phoenix, started her career as a professional wrestler in May 2001. In October 2005, she signed a contract with the well-known wrestling company WWE, but she was hurt soon after and had to have several surgeries. When she went back to WWE RAW in July 2007, she won several titles, including the WWE Women’s Champion and the Divas Champion three times each.

Natalya and Beth Phoenix, who go by the name “Divas of Doom,” are the WWE’s professional tag team champions. In 2011, both friends were cast as anti-divas, and they fought hard against the relationships between their best friends and the cute barbie job in the company. In late 2010, Natalya beat Layla and Michelle McCool in a handicap match for the Survivor Series. This brought them back together. After the game, the pair attacked her, and Phoneix saved her. In the first Divas tag team tables match in WWE history, the Divas doom beat McCool in a TLC (Tables, Ladder, and Chairs) match.

How does Beth Phoenix know Natalya?

Beth Phoenix doesn’t have any family ties to Natalya. They worked together a lot in WWE, but they were never related by blood.

World Wrestling Entertainment, or WWE, is the link between Phoenix and Natalya. They started getting WWE fans as a tag team in 2010 and kept doing so until 2012.

Beth Phoenix started her WWE career before Natalya. Beth Phoenix’s first match was in 2006, while Natalya’s first match was in 2008. During her early days in WWE, Phoenix had trouble with an injury, so she went to OVW to get more training. While she was there, she won the OVW Women’s Championship twice. After getting better from her injuries and finishing her training, she went back to WWE as one of the most powerful divas. People started calling her “The Glamazon.” After she won her first championship belt at NO Mercy in October, she kept it for six months. She made history in 2010 when she was the second woman to wrestle in the Men’s Royal Rumble. She went on to win the Women’s Championship three times, which was also a first.

Beth Phoenix and Natalya met for the first time at the Survivor Series in 2010. Natalya was in a handicap match against LayCool, which was made up of Michelle McCool and Layla. After LayCool won the game, they attacked Natalya. Phoenix stepped in to save her, and from then on, their name in the WWE ring was Divas of Doom. At TLC, they had their first tag team match with LayCool, which is made up of Michelle McCool and Layla. They won, making them the first Divas to work together in WWE history.

For the past two years of spam, they had dominated the game of the divas, and no other diva would play against them. But when they face off on the 28th episode of Smackdown, which Phoenix won, they can’t keep up their chemistry on-screen. After the match, they shook hands, but Torres, who was now in charge of the story, seemed to suspend Phoenix, blaming her for Kaitlyn’s attack for no reason because the attacker was blonde. Phoenix and Natalya fought in the ring because Phoenix said Natalya was a blonde like herself. After that happened, Phoenix left WWE for good.

In 2017, Natalya started a five-year reunion by introducing Phoenix at the Hall of Fame. The next year, Phoenix made an unexpected appearance at the Royal Rumble. During the match, the Divas of Doom faced each other, and Natalya got rid of Phoenix. Later, Tamina and Nia Jax attacked Phoenix at Fastlane 2019. When Natalya came to help, Tamina and Nia Jax also attacked her. Phoenix and Natalya got back together after Phoenix said she was coming out of retirement on an episode of Raw. They then challenged The Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection (Bayley and Sasha Banks) at WrestleMania 35 for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Is Beth Phoenix related to anyone?

Beth Phoenix does have a brother, but she doesn’t talk about him to keep his privacy safe.

Even though he has a sister who is a famous wrestler, he hasn’t tried to make money off of her fame. Phoenix Brother may have stayed away from his sister’s fame because the media loves to talk about the personal and family lives of famous people.

There is no doubt that she has a brother. But no one knows if he is older or younger than Phoenix. Both children probably grew up with their parents in Elmira, New York, in the United States. She started her career when she was young. She might not have been able to finish it without the help and encouragement of her parents, even though she worked as a waitress to make ends meet while wrestling in the OVW in Elmira.

Adam Joseph Copeland is Beth Phoenix’s husband

She has been married twice, but most people only know her as the wife of Adam Joseph Copeland (Edge), who is one of the best-known names in professional wrestling. She was once married to former WWE star Joey Knight, but they split up after nine years of marriage in 2010. She married Edge, and the two of them had a child. Edge got married for the third time, and the marriage has been going on for more than six years.

After both of them left WWE, they started going out together. Their two children, Lyric Rose Copeland and Ruby Ever Copeland, were both born before they got married. Ruby was born in late May 2016, while Lyric was born in 2013. Edge and Beth Phoenix have been a strong team in the WWE. They’ve been dating for over eleven years, but their first match as a tag team will be at the Royal Rumble.

These famous wrestlers know how to balance their personal and professional lives well. After leaving WWE, both famous wrestlers went back to wrestling. Phoenix first worked as a wrestling commentator for the NXT brand. At the same time, Edge returned to WWE as a wrestler recovering from a neck injury by making a surprise entrance at the 2020 Royal Rumble in the style of his earlier glory days.

Edge has done well in wrestling, just like his wife. Edge started wrestling professionally in 1992 with WWE, where he showed off his skills and won several titles. After a few years, Edge began working with Christian as a tag team, and they won the world tag team championship seven times. At that time, all wrestling fans knew about it and liked it. Along with the Dudley Boyz, they are one of TLC’s best-known teams because of how well they do in the ring.

Edge has won the second most championships in WWE history. He has held the titles of World Heavyweight Champion seven times, WWE Champion four times, Intercontinental Champion five times, United States Champion once, World Tag Team Champion twelve times, and WWE Tag Team Champion twice. He is the WWE’s seventh Grand Slam Champion and fourteenth Triple Crown Champion. Edge won the King of the Ring tournament in 2001, the first Money in the Bank ladder match in 2005, and the Royal Rumble event in 2010. He was the first wrestler in WWE history to win all three championships.

Edge had a great career, but because he hurt his neck so often, he had to leave the WWE in 2011. As he gave his last speech on Monday Night Raw, all of his fans in the WWE arena and those who watched him on TV were sad. Even though he is no longer wrestling, he keeps surprising his fans by showing up as a special guest at WrestleMania and other big events. He sometimes seems to help the young wrestlers who are trying to get started in the sport. His happy comments remind his fans of when he used to compete and show off his skill and talent by using different moves to beat his opponents.

Early years

Elizabeth Kociaski was born in Elmira, New York, to Polish parents who raised her there. When she was 11, she won a coloring contest where the prize was tickets to a World Wrestling Federation TV taping. This is what Kocianski says made her fall in love with professional wrestling. She says that her favorite wrestlers are Bret Hart, Sgt. Slaughter, Owen Hart, and Ted DiBiase. Kociaski went to high school in Elmira at Notre Dame, where she ran track and played tennis. In her senior year, she was chosen to be the prom queen. Kociaski has a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice and public relations from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York. Kocianski worked as a waitress at a local restaurant called Lights Bakery and Coffee Shop while she was wrestling in OVW.

Career in amateur wrestling

Elizabeth Kociaski started wrestling when she joined the scholastic wrestling team at Notre Dame High School. She was the first girl the school had ever had on the varsity wrestling team. In 1999, she won both the North-East freestyle women’s championship and the New York State Fair Tournament. She was also a part of USA Wrestling, an organization for freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, at the time. She wanted to be a pro wrestler for the rest of her life, and she thought that a strong amateur background would help her get there.

Career in professional wrestling

She went to a professional wrestling school and Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, after she graduated from high school in 1998. Her first choice for a wrestling school was Stu Hart’s Dungeon, but because it was so far away, she chose a school that was closer. At the school, Joey Knight and Robin Knightwing, both of whom had trained in the Hart Dungeon, taught her how to fight. She later said that Nora Greenwald, who was known in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) as Molly Holly, paid for her to go to wrestling school after Carolan gave her a demo tape of her work. Her first match as a professional wrestler was against Alexis Laree.  She then worked for independent wrestling promotions, such as Cleveland All Pro Wrestling and Apocalypse Wrestling, where she wrestled both men and women under the name “Phoenix.” In 2002, she was one of the first wrestlers in GLORY, a separate organization for women, and the first GLORY Champion. She then went to work for Far North Wrestling (FNW), where she was the only woman wrestler. In 2003, she beat Joey Knight and Kevin Grace to win the FNW Cruiserweight Title. Later in 2003, she took part in World Xtreme Wrestling’s annual Women’s Elite 8 tournament. She made it to the final, but lost to April Hunter. She came back two years later and beat Nikki Roxx, but the eventual winner, Alicia, beat her in the second round. The next month, Phoenix was at the first taping for Shimmer Women Athletes, a sister promotion to Ring of Honor. During Volume 1, she was pinned by Shimmer founder Allison Danger, but she beat NWA Midwest Women’s Champion MsChif in a non-title match, which was a big surprise.

In May 2004, Kociaski was asked to try out for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). He moved to Louisville, Kentucky, to work for their then-developing territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). She first appeared on OVW television in July 2004. At that time, she had changed her ring name to “Beth Phoenix,” and she was Chris Masters’ girlfriend and valet. The storyline didn’t last long, and the next month, Phoenix was recast as Aaron “The Idol” Stevens’ manager. On October 20, 2005, the same month she broke her hand, she signed a developmental contract with WWE. The two were later joined by Shelly Martinez, with whom Phoenix had a fight early in 2006.
