In the video, Whitney’s dad, Glenn, tells her over the phone, “We’re taking your mom to the emergency room.” It’s eerie.”
“I got a call from my father,” Whitney said on camera. He told me that another stroke had happened to my mother. “My heart just jumped out of my chest.” In the My Big Fat Fabulous Life trailer, Whitney is crying because her mother is sick.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life shows that Whitney Thore is very close to her family and friends. The TLC starlet has a lot of fans, so it’s no surprise that her parents, Glenn and Barbara “Babs” Thore, are also very popular with viewers.
Still, a sneak peek at MBFFL season 10 makes me worried about Whitney’s mother. On August 9, the first episode of Season 10 showed more about Babs’ health problems.
Babs was taken to the ICU after she had a stroke. There, she was diagnosed with COVID-19 and got a UTI.
Babs Thore’s Health: Is She All Right?
Five years ago, Babs Thore had a stroke. But in the last two years, when coronavirus was very common, the Thore family followed strict quarantines and rules.
In the trailer for Season 10, Whitney finds out that her mother has had a heart attack. Babs is doing well and showing the world how absolutely fabulous she is.
Whitney wrote a post on Instagram to thank her fans and let them know how Babs was doing. She wrote, “Thank you to everyone who has reached out to help our family. I know that I’ve been less active on social media than usual over the last six months.
We’ve all been doing everything we can to help my mom get better. She gets excited when a fan comes up to her, and she smiled so big when I told her that Season 10 starts tonight.”
What happened to Babs Thore?
Bab Thore was put on a feeding tube after she had a stroke and was taken to the ICU. Even at the end of the show, things didn’t look good.
Since Babs didn’t qualify for rehab at the time, a doctor told Whitney and her family to start looking into palliative care for her.
Whitney had a lot of doubts when the doctor told her family to think about taking her mother’s feeding tube out.
Since Season 10 filming started, Babs should have gotten a lot better since her last seizure.
