When Larry Emdur of Australia’s Channel Seven’s The Morning Show asked Kyle what it was like to film with her family on Tuesday, she talked about her relationship with her sisters.
“That’s really hard. It was great when my sister Kim [Richards] was on, and then it was terrible. It was one of the worst things that ever happened to me on the show.”
Kyle and Kim were both on the show from the beginning, but Kim left after five seasons. In Season 12 of RHOBH, Kathy became a part-time friend and joined the show.
Kyle said the following about Kathy during the interview:
“I told Kathy, ‘It’s going to be great, we’re going to have fun.'” We did that last season. And of course, something happened this season, but we’re sisters and blood, so we’ll always get back together at the end of the day.”

Kyle opened up about her relationship with her sisters on Watch What Happens Live in May, after filming RHOBH. She said that their relationship has changed for the better and that they are “speaking again.” This is especially true since Kyle lost her “best friend,” Lorene, who was also a close friend of her sisters, who “knew Lorene since she was seven.”
Kyle started a fight with Kim and Kathy in 2015 when she decided to make a show called American Woman about the life of their late mother Kathleen Richards. Even though her sisters didn’t like the idea, Kyle went ahead and started the show anyway. It premiered in 2018 and ended after one season.
In one episode from last year, Kyle talked about how their mother’s death made the sisters even more distant from each other and changed their relationship. She said in an open letter:
“When my mom died, things changed between Kathy, Kim, and me, because my mom was always the one who brought us together. We would have had the same fights with my mom if she was still alive. No doubt about it. But my mom would never have let us not spend time together for all those years.
