The European and UK dates for the American rock band Rage Against the Machine have been canceled. The performances had been planned for this month and September. The news comes after vocalist Zack De La Rocha hurt his leg. The singer hurt his leg during a July concert in Chicago.
The singer performed while seated despite the injury. He was later taken off the stage by crew members following the performance. Zack de la Rocha is now said to need rest and has been advised against playing, according to the band. However, the band will complete the three Madison Square Garden performances that are scheduled for August 11, 12, and 14.
Rage Against The Machine mentioned in a statement
According to medical advice, Zack de la Rocha has been informed that the UK and European leg of the Rage Against The Machine tour cannot go on in August and September 2022. This cancellation is being announced with tremendous disappointment.
They went on to say:
“Rage Against The Machine’s run at Madison Square Garden will end on August 11, August 12, and August 14, and Zack will then need to go home to recover. There is simply too much of a danger due to the flights, travel time, and demanding schedule in the UK and Europe.
The band offered an additional apology to the ticket holders and promised to reimburse their money. In 2023, the band will still do their scheduled concerts in North America.

security tackling the guitarist for Rage Against The Machine
Tom Morello, the band’s guitarist, was tackled by a security guard not long after Zack De La Rocha was hurt. A Rage Against The Machine fan attempted to enter the stage on July 23 during a performance in Toronto. The security agent made touch with Morello, who was performing, while attempting to remove the fan. The guard accidentally knocked Morello to the ground while attempting to take down the fan. The band was playing Killing in the Name Of, the final song of the evening, when the tragedy occurred.
