Grand Admiral Thrawn, the antagonist of the television series Star Wars Rebels, followed Ezra Bridger into the depths of space. A purrgil clutched the Chimaera while Bridger entered hyperspace and launched himself into the unknown.
The voice behind the fictional Star Wars character Ezra is Taylor Gray. He appears in related works and is the star of the animated television series Star Wars Rebels (2014–2018).
Gray plays the same part in Star Wars: Forces of Destiny (2018). Many critics and audience members felt that he was excessively annoying or immature, however opinions among both groups varied.
Ezra Bridger’s fate in Star Wars Rebels: What happened to him?
During the Liberation of Lothal, the planet that Ezra Bridger had desired to see freed from the Empire when the Rebellion first started, he was involved in fierce fight with the Imperial Royal Guards and a few stormtroopers.
As reported by the Fiction Horizon, they were all aboard the Chimera in addition to embracing Grand Admiral Thrawn and Emperor Palpatine.
Despite Palpatine and Thrawn’s appeals for him to join them, he is now firmly dedicated to using the Light Side of the Force to liberate his world from the Empire’s enslavement.
As a result, Palpatine and Thrawn simply decided to execute Ezra. During the fierce struggle, his comrades successfully protected the Lothal capital from the Empire’s second round of bombs.

How Does Ezra Bridger Actually Pass Away?
After making a significant jump into hyperspace, Ezra Bridger perished. Given the unforeseen twists and turns the Star Wars universe is known for, that is probably not the case.
On Thrawn’s star destroyer, Ezra and Grand Admiral Thrawn fight in the Star Wars Rebels Season 4 finale. He uses his special connection to the Force to call on the aid of space whales known as Purrgil.
They take off into hyperspace with Thrawn’s fleet. However, no one ever finds out for sure, and there are a few tales regarding what happened to the character with the chili-colored skin after that titanic jump into hyperspace.
Before leaving, Bridger also lets Sabine know that he is depending on her. He never explains why, but Starwars Fandom speculates that he presumably wants Sabine to stand up to the Empire on their planet Lothal.
