It took the entire nation by surprise when Erin Corwin was murdered in 2014. Christopher Lee, the accused killer, had testified in court that he strangled his partner out of wrath when he was arrested.
Earlier this year, Christopher Lee, a 19-year-old male, was found guilty of the murder of Erin Corwin, also a 19-year-old woman. During a trial in San Bernardino County Superior Court, the defendant admitted to choking his lover and disposing of her corpse.
In order to conceal an illicit relationship between Lee and Corwin, authorities suspect Lee lured Corwin into the dunes and murdered her. According to sources, Erin had been regularly pregnant at the time, and Lee was the father of the children.

In court, Christopher stated that he killed Erin in a fit of rage after a disagreement with her. Later, he stated that he had regained his composure and that he is now prepared to speak candidly about his mistakes rather than conceal them.
After confessing his crime, Lee stated in a subsequent chat that he is no longer frightened to share the truth because everyone already knows what he has done and why.
Christopher had been asked by Deputy District Attorney Sean Daugherty if he was the only one who had killed her, and Christopher had said, “Yes, I am the only one.”

Christopher was sentenced to prison and has stayed there ever since. Since then, he has remained out of the spotlight, and he has not spoken anything further about the case.
As a result of a previous remark by Lee, in which he stated that he would return clean, it is likely that he is currently in jail and undergoing rehabilitation.
